The cool thing about this guitar is that it will be fantastic for new wave/post-punk style music. The cleans sound incredible and the dirty stays pretty and clean. Plus…it’s got the offset vibe.

I kinda like that the starcaster is less dirty, gives it more of a reason to buy ngl

My take: if you’re a fan of Tom & Blink, you’ll probably be happy to have one. If you’re a Starcaster aficionado, there are way better choices.

Great video guys! Great job! The gold one looks epic! 🤘they all sound great in their own ways, which is cool if you’re looking for a specific sound that the others can’t offer as much. Two legends in this video!

Starcaster seems most bright to my ears. Made the Strat sound a little dull which I’m really surprised about. Sustain seemed amazing on it too! Cool guitar!

I like the TD 333 I have more than my TD Strat reissue, and I’m finding I’m going to be liking the Starcaster more too which kind of upsets me.

Yea I was leaning towards getting surf green because of its association with the enema area but once I saw the gold one on a few videos I’m not so sure anymore. The gold with the rosewood and rotated maple looks so good together

Honestly the Gibson sounds best to my ears, followed by the Strat. Good job getting this video out and giving us the 3 tones.

I love my OG strat. A lot more than the reissue. But I do really love the Starcaster. But it could be because it’s new & exciting. Ask me again in a few months haha

The Gibson ES for me has the best tone due to that Dirty Fingers HUmbucker.

Want the gold so I can paint a racing stripe on it and emulate his 333

You can get it right now! You could always get some stickers to put on the neck so you have the smileys or a replacement neck 🤘🏻

Came here to listen difference between guitar models but heard almost identical sound produced by FX processor. I believe it’s better to stop using FX digital toys when making comparison of guitars or amps.

It’s not the 1980s. Yes, valve amps are cool. But a lot of modern artists are using profilers like Kemper, Stomp etc. Both Tom & Marks setups are using profilers. The important thing in my opinion is to use the same settings so it’s fair. And I did! I’m sure someone else might mic up an amp so there will be that comparison for those who want the vintage/analog tone test ☺️

Difficult to say as it’s all in the play. But aesthetically I love the Gibson more.

Agree, Starcaster is the best signature . it has the mojo of both worlds of previous models.

1200 made in Indonesia and no hardshell case? Come on dude. The new Dave grohl has two USA pickups, better specs and a hardshell case.

Gibson sounds best. It’s all about the pickup. Do not buy another guitar, buy a pickup.

If you had told me 20 years ago that people would be paying 1300$ for a made in Indonesia "fender" ... well id be laughing in your face

So lame to watch a dude give the horns playing along on sig guitars to a dude who doesn’t even play live anymore lol
