Who cares ? He'a a sciento FIRST and foremost the rest is secondary for him. The daughter passed after if ever. Nothing to expect from him as a so called dad when you're not involved with the true love of his life who is scientology. Not surprising one bit to me.

Abandoning? It's a typical case of mother controlling parenting. At suris' age no parent alienates one against the other, you'd never get away with that in the UK no matter what religion you have

Suri is a strong girl cause she has the chance of having a supportive, loving benevolent good mama. She's ll be ok and will move on with her life with or without this " father ".

You cant miss something you never had.. Suri someday he will need you amd you’ll return the favour. We all reap what we sow

Suri is better off without Scientology in her life, as we've seen from experience with other members who have since left. It's a terrible shame that Scientology has the 'rule' that there must be no contact with non members of the sect. Even close family. That would ring warning bells to me about what kind of organisation it is to start with, let alone the types of practices they enforce on people, and the amount of money they demand just to retain membership. Too sad. 😢

I’m sure Siri has a beautiful life with her mother. Although children usually are better off with both parents even if divorced but that Scientologist thing is bad news.

Cruise's personal relationships have proved to be often 'transactional' for most of his adult life. Maybe that's what aided his experiences as a famous/successful actor through the decades.

The consequences of Scientology and sticking with it (vs. Katie and Suri who escaped). He likely won't see her while he's still in Scientology as they're supposed to like, shun any family that leaves the cult... Suri and Katie are probably perfectly happy with things this way, despite the expected sadness that comes with this sort of dynamic and knowing that Tom is still deep in the cult's clutches.

Why I don't get is this: Why didn't he marry a scientologist woman, famous or not, and made a family with her ? The ties would have been stronger in that case I guess. He always looked out of his cult where I'm sure he can find a beautiful woman, attractive women IN it.

The guy says he works 7 days a week. Allways on movie sets. so he does not see her. And he has abounded her. Plus he turned his adoptive kids against nicole kidman. Its not gossip as everyone knows it true.

It makes me angry that Tom Cruise could be such a bastard towards his own flesh and blood. He makes my blood boil but he's not one of my favourite actors anyway. I hope Suri is happy in her life and isn't too affected by her father's estranged attitude.

Hide the face but also since the viral outbreak in 2020, people have become over-all more aware of the grossness that exists outside and how easily sicknesses can spread. It's been customary in other countries to wear masks during certain times of year for generations, and since the pandemic hit the first time people have learned that it might just occasionally be better to wear the mask. Also NYC stinks in certain weather, as there is garbage all over the place (or was when I last went there in spring/summer). In addition, there is lots of pollution. I would say she's either being smart, healthy, or both. :)

- Hide face from immediate passers-by - Germs still exist and people get sick from public all the time (and have for literally all of time) and people are more aware of this now - NYC is often smelly and full of gasses and things that can be both bad for the lungs and also just unpleasant.
