This song and the video are perfect... but I’m biased as I knew Dudley Sutton (the old bloke - lead actor in this video). Sadly Dudley passed away in September. He was a truly lovely man.. and made a great cup of tea. Oh and my friend Anna Webb and her dog Mr Binks appear in the video too.

This video is inspired by a real man in London who ran a dog 🐶 club & who was much loved ❤️👴🏻who sadly died. Beautiful song, beautiful voice Tom Chaplin & lovely video 🌲🌲🌲🌲❤️

I always have my eyes full of tears when I hear this song. Beautiful voice and video.

An absolute disgrace that only 264k people have seen this. Any other era this would be a classic and seen millions of times...I dispair sometimes at how people see music these days....Moving, emotional, poetic and sung heavenly.

We live in a predominantly secular society, thank heavens, but even as an atheist I find this song poignant and moving. Others may not even listen to it in the belief that it might be 'preachy', given the title. Just saying.

I heard this song initially at a Graham Norton show years ago around its release and got emotional immediately (Me and my ex got divorced that week). Everything about this track hits me, the tone, the voice, the climax and the last verse ... it suddenly stops there. I got that. Beautifully written, sung and performed. Today it's December 10th 2022 and just saw the official video for the very first time. Even this is perfect, it brings so much, again. Even though I'm a 51 year old atheist, this song for me is the most beautiful Christmas song of the last couple of decades. You don't need religion to feel or experience its message. Thanks Tom.

After seeing how many thumbs down there is on KZread for John Lennon Imagination nothing could surprise me anymore. Some people have no heart or soul.
