It’s amazing to think about the fact that Tom Brady probably would’ve never been in the NFL if Belichick didn’t see his talent. It gets me thinking how many people that are super talented and just needed a little training get overlooked every day. And all it takes, is one person with an eye for talent to see them.

Nah, TB12 was projected to be a 3rd or 4th rounder before the draft, he would’ve found a way on a roster through a try out if he went undrafted. People forget, but Tom was a pro bowl QB during his first year as a starter (look it up, he was a PB starter and was 6th in passer rating in 2001), he would’ve been fine once he got the start anywhere. The Pats also went 5-11 in 2000 so it’s not like he started for a stacked team.

Probably the GREATEST QB underdog story. Curt Warners a close second. Not sure Brady is the greatest QB of all time IF Belichick did not believe in him. I mean he kept him as #4. OBVIOUSLY he saw something in him that the other teams did not. That puts Belichick out there as one of the greatest at picking WINNERS like TB.

Talk about destiny, where would he be if Bledsoe did not decide to play it cute and take the artery-slicing hit from Moe Lewis. incredibly good luck for Tom, probably gave him two full years of starting, maybe somewhere else.

Brady or not those first two super bowls happen without him that team was dominant defensively and had drew Bledsoe had Bledsoe never gotten hurt we might’ve never seen the best career because like it or not Brady was game manager those first few Super Bowls. Those last 4 is when Brady was really that dude.
