Definitely - the Saints will be in the market for a franchise QB next season.

I changed from gripping it how Patrick Mahomes grips it to how Josh Allen and Russell Wilson grip it and I had more control over my throw than I ever have in my whole life. For the first time the ball went where I wanted it to go everytime without having to try.

The crazy thing is that by this point Tom has seen everything in football, he ready for anything

Thanks to Wilson I now sling my footballs with the same pinpoint accuracy as when I flick my boogers. Goes exactly where I want it to go. lmao

I saw Matt Ryan's NFL debut in Atlanta. Everybody talks about some long TD pass to a wide open receiver that my dead grandmother could have completed His best play was on a roll out when he came face to face with a linebacker, juked him to make him think he was going to try to run, thereby buying some time to complete a pass about 10 or 15 yards downfield. I then definitely knew he was the real deal.

To summarize the video: It all doesnt matter its all personal feeling

This is a cool video. Always interesting to see how the best of the best do it. Baseball pitchers talking about finger placement on specific pitches has such subtlety involved as well

Baseball is such a good sport to transition into QB from. These baseball/football QB hybrids are so good at throwing on the run and at different arm angles

This used to fascinate me when I was younger. Grip evolved as I got bigger and stronger. The ball definitely plays a part and how it feels in the hand. Troy Aikman had a pretty interesting grip back in the day.

@@benmarino1913 Aikman had a few great years. But, for the most part, Aikman was just a game manager, and threw a particularly wobbly ball. But, hey. Peyton Manning also threw plenty of ducks, and he holds most of the passing records. So, it's really just a style thing. Funny thing is both Aikman and Manning had terrible rookie seasons. But, look how they both ended up.

My all time goats are Purdy, Brady, Rodgers, Montana! i never really thought about how i held or threw the ball. I would play football as a kid my position was always qb I took to throwing quickly. Now that i think about it I spin the football off with my middle and index. As a kid i would watch Joe Montana work his magic. Throwing was 2nd nature for me as for precision that needs some attention
