💯 translator fumbled so much last night. I don't even speak French and I caught him missing some massive parts of the fighter interviews.

Aspinall is genuinely not afraid of anyone, you can tell just by how calm he is talking about them. He has that rugby mentality as in he just sees it all as a sport, he doesn't look at it like it's this extremely dangerous job or anything, and there's these scary men he has to fight. It's just another game/match to him.

He barely lost the Francis fight and was still no. 1 contender when the Jones fight rolled around. He's undeserving right now until he beats either Tom or Sergei, but Sergei is already tapped as backup for Jones/Stipe and he would be dumb to forfeit that. So Gane's path back to the belt currently is Aspinall.

Yeah so nice that he likes to hit his opponents to the back of the head in every fight. As soon as he has someone hurt just watch him and you will see that every time he intentionally slides at least 1 shot there and most of the time that 1 shot there is crucial. Did it in this fight, in Tuivasa fight and knocked out JDS like that. Idk why more people don't aknowledge him doing that.

Besides that, Tom Aspinall just won 1 fight against Tybura. Gane is a former interim champ and is ranked higher. He has no reason to want to fight Aspinall. I think Tom should fight the winner of Blaydes/ Almeida. If he gets past that, he can talk about a title shot.
