The prep kitchen or spice kitchen comes with a heavy extractor fan or Windows in Texas to vent smells and smoke.

Northern Utah had some record snow this last season.

Beautiful home.! Take some space from the pantry; enlarge butler pantry to add dishwasher and large enough for a caterer .

I agree.

This is nice but some rooms are offset for my taste for example i wouldn't want or need two kitchens on the same floor right next to each other,instead of the second kitchen i would prefer that was the washer and dryer room which i think would be better than on the second floor considering I've never heard or seen a laundry room upstairs near the bedrooms before but rather in the basement but that second kitchen would do just fine for that, also i would change that front door to all wood, i don't like or care for that blue door at all, these are just my preferences to suite my individual taste and in no way saying anything negative about the home itself it is a beautiful home i just would make those changes.👍🏼

Love the 2nd kitchen connected to the pantry. This house would be awesome if it was in a lot similar to the Friberg in Lehi. Just so that the lower floor room windows have unobstructed views as well.

Yeah we live right next to this neighborhood in a similar price range. These lots are typically in the 0.2 to 0.3 acre range. Utah is a great buy right now before the tech sector starts blowing up. We have some large land opening up nearby this area where Google and other tech companies are bidding for right now so while we might not be Silicon Valley, they have been calling it Silicon Slopes.

When they build second and third story, rather basement or above ground, do they have concrete flooring between each floor? I know it cost more to do it but it can be done. This is why I would rather have a one story slab on grade home even though it is harder to somewhat remodel.

In Utah we typically build 2 or 3 levels. There is always a basement with a cement floor whether you go 2 levels or 3. In between each floor from the basement up is wooden. Cement slaps between each floor besides the basement I’ve never seen been done as I’m sure the weight requires a lot of fortifying to support.

@@MrBrandenS Saw it done on one of Matt Risinger Build Show episodes.....it does require more which I don't mind the cost because when prices get up to 700k or more I expect that to be done for sound damping and structure for higher than two story homes. What I have seen is there are few who do that when they have a preproduction template design already figured for cost so as to make a "large" profit. I generally prefer single story home... can't do the stairs....but if I find a two or more story home with elevator that has that done....it ticks off one of the requirements for a more than one story home.

This is the base modal price without basement finish nor any other options like floor, fireplace&wall, kitchen island etc.. If you want the model home, you'll have to pay at least another $500,000

This is super misleading. You say in the video that this is the base model however what you’re showing is obviously not a $600,000 home. I’m guessing this is close to over $1 million however you’re not disclosing that given the custom features of the home are extra. Honestly it’s super annoying that people like you continuously make videos like this instead of just telling the truth of the real price of a $600,000 home versus $1 million home. While I think it’s really cool and obviously this house is super nice, posting it as a $648,000 house When you know it’s a lot more than that is not telling the truth. I would love to live in a house like this for $648,000 please tell me can I buy this house for $648,000?
