Do you think this is ideal for a basement? Mine is probably around 800-900sqfeet ?

I got the same one about the same time as you. It stopped working after 4 mos. Worked great until then!

Damn that sucks to hear! I just ordered this one. I ordered it from someone on Mercari. Hopefully it doesn't crap out on me! I only paid $45 for it though and it was new.

Yeah I just received mine recently and it has done nothing to bring down the humidity level. It says its for 950sq ft and the area I'm in is smaller than that, and still, its not working very well. Its removing some humidity because its filling up with water, but it isn't doing it fast enough to bring down the humidity level. So yeah...waste of money on my part. Also another thing, within 2 days its almost full. Lowest my humidity level has gotten is 57% but it would go down to the level before I had the dehumidifier. I'll probably just use it in my restroom.

Can you let this run 24/7 ? I have a smaller model from them and in owners manual it says to turn off every 2 days for ten minutes .

When I use it, I let it run. If you’re supposed to turn it off every couple of days, I’d just get a smart outlet adapter and schedule that to happen automatically.
