i definitely recommend packing a capsule closet & comfortable shoes (you’ll be walking a lot). i brought two sweaters, some undershirts, two pairs of jeans, loose lululemon pants and sweatpants. if you bring leggings, note they are culturally inappropriate in public but okay for the gym! this was enough for me, but i also bought a lot of new clothes. the shopping is incredible and also tax free!

@@juliamellort thank you so much for the detailed reply! we’re going for 2 weeks so i was a bit uncertain on how much stuff i should pack, especially bc i’ve been told japan’s sizing is very small (i’m 5’8) :,) i’m sure the tops will fit but i’m a bit worried about the bottoms for shopping.. didn’t pack any leggings but have 2 tops that show a little bit of cleavage maybe i’ll take those out too. also what stores would you recommend? (especially in ginza) 💖💖
