The following clips are from various car meets that happened during the week of Tokyo Auto Salon of January 2020, as well as some clips from Tokyo Auto Salon itself. I didn't really film that much at these particular events so I didn't know what to do with this footage. But nonetheless here is a little edit with the both of them combined, showcasing just a small amount of the Tokyo car culture.

@@Reddzion I feel like because of weird internet culture and also the differing culture in japan, the image of anime is still very scuffed in the "West". I am both a car guy and like anime, but I totally get the aversion to it. The overly cute, young girls stuff can be super obnoxious and weird. But once you start delving into it more you get to see some really stunning creative work, sometimes even better than what Hollywood or the EU Film/comic scene produce. And most importantly: Many of it is waaay darker than most western material I have read and seen. It's kinda like people that don't want to get into cars because all they have seen is the assholes chilling at the local gas stop in fold up chairs revving their crappy golfs, but once you move past that there is genuine creativity, love and passion from people that live for this hobby.

I remember I went to Japan back when I wasn’t a car enthusiast and I probably missed out on so many awesome Jdm cars, I will go back one day to make up for it
I love the fact that it's not just Japanese cars, but also German and Italian cars as well. Japan seems to have a very diverse car culture which is awesome.
