Happy people, clean streets, walkable areas, pretty girls, polite looking men. Japan got it figured out. I’m gonna take a walk now and try not to get ran over by an F150.

You know what makes this nightlife so much more attractive than the ugly facade of Las Vegas? The lighting is 'muted' in a sense - the mix of incandescent + LED has a very nostalgic yet modern aesthetic. Nothing is overdone - nothing is outlandishly gigantic. Everything is sized for humans by humans. It's small yet large. Very well done getting video of this!

Honestly that's the best part!! Go on a weekday, hotel prices are cheap and you avoid the local weekend warrior idiots and you get to meet interesting people from all over the world!

Honestly Shibuya is kind of shitty. Granted not as shitty as vagus. But like any big city its who you know and where you go. I lived there for over 15 years and still keep a house around 10 minutes away from that intersection. But you cant wake up at sun rise and go for a surf. Every place has its pros and cons.

My home town isn’t ugly. We are just a different vibe. Tokyo is extremely strict in its laws. Japan is a different world in general. Japan in itself has a social class, and an honor system is the reason why the country is this way. As someone who teaches Japanese martial arts there are pros and cons to the Japanese culture. I teach it for a living. Because of it shaming and strict norms this caters other issues it the country that effect how people interact with the city. Japanese people are extremely polite, and disciplined. But they are also one sided meaning one little mistake or judgement you can be banned, barred or dishonored by your family, or treated very poorly socially if they find you lesser than them. Also, cops are more likely to arrest you based on suspicion especially if you’re just a foreigner and they can question you for literally anything just for walking around. And if you say the wrong thing it can be considered against the law as well. Again, not saying it’s bad. Both pros and cons. Vegas my home town sure we have crazy tourist, but it’s my home. ❤
