The band Official Hige Dandism wrote this song specifically for Tokyo Revengers. That’s why this songs hits, they’ve captured the emotions and story of Tokyo Revengers and Takemichi so perfectly. You can really feel the love they have for the series. Also the second ED of Tokyo Revengers is by an artist called Nakimushi which means cry baby in Japanese. The ED’s lyrics really suits Kazutora which is probably why Kazutora’s VA did a cover of that song.

When I heard that Official Hige Dandism sang the opening for this anime the other day, I just had to check it out cause their songs are usually so good. And I’m so glad I did cause I was not disappointed. Fell in love with the opening first time I listened to it. As expected with this group. I’ve been listening to this video on loop for a while now :)

This is genuinely one of if not my favorite anime opening, never has an opening + the visuals encapsulated a show so perfectly in my opinion.
Just got started on the anime and I cant get over how dead Mikey's eyes always looks. There's no shine to it and he just looks dead. Can't wait to see what happens

I love how the begining is upbeat qn happy and in the middle it gets more dramatic. I just love this opening

Honestly, couldn’t imagine a better opening to TR. It fits Takemichi’s feel of despair and determination. Hits really hard after you read the Tenjiku arc.
