Funny how this Mustang, that's actually really clean and nicely done, gets so much hate from the same people that complain about F&F not being realistic or something. One of the most close to reality cars in the series.

@@TheGeniusVitor it was crashed but not smashed. It was all just body damage. I've seen worse just given tire clearance and a re-alignment and put back on track. Not too uncommon for competitive teams to pull a frame straight enough in the pits after stuffing it into a wall. MUCH easier than fabbing what they would have had to for the Mustang.

Funny story, I nearly bought the actual S15 (the Mona Lisa) back in late 2007/early 2008 as a company in the UK called New Era Imports got the contract/rights from Universal to sell the cars. The S15 was only £13k at the time and I could just scrape the money together, however the insurance was looking to be £5500 so I decided against it and bought a Supra. I have actually been lucky enough to drive DK’s widebody 350z though (about 5 years ago), but it was quite hard as the rollcage side bars stopped the bucket seats sliding forward so the peddles were quite a reach! 😂

The Mona Lisa, the red Lancer Evo, the 350Z’s, RX-7, and also this Mustang (we don’t talk about the T****n). I hate the exhaust though, and maybe the engine and wheels too but looking back it was an interesting and above all bold idea. The stunts were amazing too, especially when DK drifts his 350Z up that corkscrew part in the parking garage

There are plenty of people who swapped out those engines into a 240 just because the simple fact that the engine bay is about the same size and because it's Nissan you've got a lot of parts that are literally around the same size and in similar placement so it's a lot easier to do an engine swap like that and the fact that the RB makes a bunch more power and is a lot more iconic than the SR20 is and the fact that oh really all you need is just a turbo and you're taking that 250 horsepower engine to upwards to 300 throw in some new fuel injectors that are spark plugs fix the timing and you're going to have easily 400 horsepower so I don't see why people wouldn't do it it's just the feasibility of getting your hands on the specific engine and the parts you need really as well as getting the proper oil pan to take out the front wheel drive because that's where it's mounted and has a shaft that connects to a transfer case

Back in the day when I was college when too fast too furious came out. My buddy had a 240 with a RB in it and it was ridiculously powerful!!!! Was a absolute riot too!!! spent allot of time messing with the rear tires because it would pull and hit so dam hard it wanted to kick sideways if you held it all the way down in 3rd especially at the top !!! Thing was a absolute monster thinking about 600hp or so
