It was September 1997 when I visited Tokyo Disneyland last with a friend of mine. I am a Japanese who lives in a neighboring city, but I have seldom had a chance to be there. This is my favorite attraction in the park and I reminisce about riding the boat many times. I would like to be on the "Happiest Cruise" again.

@TheMrRMJC I agree, it is still one of my favorite rides ever! It's so happy and lovely. Also a good place to rest! At California Disneyland, we save this ride for the hot afternoon when we are hot and tired!

I'm Japanese Disney fan. I'm gonna tell you about something truth. Almost people who ride this attraction call as "A Resting Place". Why!? Because there is no thrills, drops, and they are tired to just ride. I wanna say them "How dare you!!" They don't understand how a great attraction it is. How do you think about this real? Well, I can't agree whit their idea. ************************************** Sorry, my English is not well.

TheMrRMJC well maybe they dont think of it the same way you are thinking of it :P on a cold day i like to ride it to enjoy, but on a hot day i kinda see it as a resting place. I don't mean i sleep on the ride, i mean i sit down, look at all the wonderful art work and animatronics, listen to the soundtrack and enjoy the ac. Basically i treat it as another pirates of the Caribbean/ disneyland railroad. It just a place to sit back and enjoy the wonderful theming :) Some people will have different opinions, but it all comes down to how much you enjoy the attraction, not so much others :)

TheMrRMJC LMG Vids Being a Canadian and a fan of Disney technology, Its a small world to date is horrifying to me to this day. A great ride, nightmares for the night. Tokyo Disney is tryin to be Disney World USA but.... With there own twists like Tower of Terror.... They added a whole new element of The Twilight Zone.

This is my favorite Small World ride!!!!

im american and ive only been to the one here in LA and let me tell you, the animatronics and effects are way better and modernized at the one i see in this video in Tokyo then the one in LA. thats is of course that the one in LA still has the puppets and effects from the 60s when the park opened

It's my mission to go to Tokyo Disneyland and ride this! So what if it's a 14+ hour flight..... I'll do it eventually

Bolivia is represented by the famous Lake Titicaca on Andes mountain.

Also Germany is only present in Anaheim Disneyland's Small World and Paris Disneyland, in Magic Kingdom, Hong Kong Disneyland, and Tokyo Disneyland the German Dolls now represent the German side of Switzerland which I guess Zurich.

The Tori gate between Malaysia and Japan showcases represents transition from Asia to Egypt/Africa.

We will be greeted by penguins on Los Glaciares in Argentina/Chile once entering the South American room.

I do love the newer updates that Tokyo Disney would up with. But it seems it's missing much of the things I remember from Disney Orlando. Still, I loved the Japanese innovation.

I ever tried when in Tokyo Disneyland on May 2013 and when I will visit Tokyo Disneyland again, I should re-sit this ride many times.

The countries present in Asian room are only Japan, India, China, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Korea, Myanmar/Burma, Philippines, and Cambodia, and possibly Tibet (for Himalaya mountain)

Wait this is a exact copy of the one in magic kingdom except the magic kingdom one came first copycats GET YOUR OWN VERSION

The Clock Tower the layout of the Tokyo Disneyland version is identical to the one at magic kingdom

the Orlando version and the Tokyo version layout are the same

BubbaCheezit except the goodbye message room is a bit shorter than the one in Orlando and the finale is sung in Japanese and the Polynesian and African safari rooms have vocals in English and the loading area is split in to two zones instead of one but other than that the layout is the same as the one in Orlando
