It matters not what variation of this parade I watch, I remained stunned every time! I love it!

This video inspired me to buy/import the soundtrack. It came in last week. I have not found any other recording of the Electrical Parade that actually has It's A Small World on it. What a treasure! Thank you!

I saw pictures of the old parade, and it does indeed have the hippo hauling the circus organ coach.

I'm also told (and proven right) that Dopey's mine train is also unique to Anaheim and Tokyo never had that, either.

No, I believe that it still is being towed by the giant hippo. It just wasn't shown. If you look real closely when the camera cut to King Leonidus' float, you can see the edge of the hippo's tail for a fraction of a second.

WDW also had a different version of the Dumbo scene, which featured clowns pushing carts full of balloons instead of the giant rings where the clowns perform (as is the case with Disneyland), as well as lacked a Snow White scene (all they showed were the Seven Dwarfs marching along close behind the circus scene).

Yes, I know. I was surprised when I saw WDW with no subsequent Snow White Unit. Having them walk behind the Circus Unit was so random.

Isn't it cool that this parade was more of a copy of Disneyland, CA's parade thant WDW's was? Tokyo even had a Peter Pan Unit as well. Somebody said a long time ago that Peter Pan was unique to Disneyland, CA. Looks like they were wrong.

@YugiohDecksman while it may look like the hippo was pulling the calaioe (although he isn't shown in yjis video. the hippo & cailaiope were spaced roughly an inch or 2 to make it APPEAR like the hippo was pulkling it but they are actually 2 seperate floats.

This is awesome!!! I've never got to see so much of the original Tokyo Disneyland Electrical Parade before. Thanks so much for posting! Where did you get the footage? They really did have a complete parade. It was absolutely gorgeous! Too bad all those wonderful floats went to waste when the parade ended in '95. :(

not all of them. the 4 floats in the Swan Lake section found a home in the Paris version.

@mastromjm Were the swans ever in the any of the American versions of the parade?

Did the Snow White scene have all of the floats that the Disneyland version had, including Dopey's mine train, or just the one mine float seen here?
