Wanted to do the finals but then I found this gem. I haven't watched Egypt fence before so I was pretty pleasantly surprised when they really made Korea work for the win. Don't mention how Egypt won Cairo team juniors, I don't care, it's nowhere close to the same level as a senior event And for the Oh Sanguk backline defence aficionados amongst you - 3:28

With all due respect, Egypt winning the Cairo Junior Worlds is a pretty big deal. That was the first time a junior team from Egypt won the JWCHs (Abouelkassam is the first to win an indivivdual junior wchs back in 2010). And to even win on their own home soil was amazing. But anyways, going to this match, they definately gave the Korean team a run for their money. Massive effort by the Egyptians. They fenced so well.

ugh i'm not really into the bouts where the results don't really matter. I know it's the Olympics but I doubt they'll be fencing as hard once they know the victory doesn't lead to a medal
