Fun fact about Playful Cloud: it's originally Toji's weapon, which is why he's so nasty with it. Geto got it from Toji's Inventory curse, and Gojo gave it to Maki after Geto died (but she has a bit of trauma about using it because of what Geto did to her). Also, it's the only special grade cursed tool that doesn't have a cursed technique engraved in it. Its strength is proportional to the strength of the user.

Despite being a deadbeat, in a weird way though, Toji kind of set up Megumi's life to be better than his no matter what happened 1. If Megumi wasn't adopted by Gojo, he'd get into the Zenin clan and as a competent sorcerer he'd be able to live a better life than Toji could provide to him 2. Since Megumi was adopted by Gojo, he didn't have to worry about financial troubles since Gojo is one of the richest sorcerers there is SPOILERS 3. If Gojo ever got incapacitated, Megumi would become the head of the Zenin clan, making him one of the highest ranking sorcerers in the Jujutsu society. Toji might've also subconciously chosen to keep on fighting Gojo because he remembered the bet he had with Naobito.

Toji got hazed and abused due to being a jujutsu-less “monkey” (Maki being a “mirror” of this, but took a worse abuse due to being a woman and twin), so he had a grudge, seeing Gojo as the highest example and disrespect to his life (since the Zenin said he’d never amount to anything compared to Sorcerers)

Vegeta isn’t a deadbeat that’s why lol. He didn’t fw future trunks bc he didn’t know him like that. But by the end of the cell saga you seen the love he had for him. Esp when cell basically offed trunks. Vegeta went crazy. Deadbeats wouldn’t have done all that. You seen toji didn’t. As for regular trunks vegeta was always there. You know what's really cool about the Toji vs Megumi fight? It's said that Toji is working off of instinct - the instinct to destroy the strongest curse energy vessel (whether that'd be a user or a spirit) and after he mercs that special grade curse, the one he goes after is his own son! He does this before Jogo. So basically, Megumi has the confirmed potential to be one of the strongest characters in the show! This is even bolstered by his technique being able to go toe to toe with Sakuna. Honestly, I'm super pumped to see where the story and characters go.

@kishka5526 Yes because Megumi was draining curse energy to not just cut a hole in a pocket dimension but also stop the user's effects with his own domain expansion. Something Nanimi and the others COULDN'T do. There is no debate on this as Megumi's potential in strength is way higher than theirs. Curse energy is basically life energy in the story when you actively use it.

It has nothing to do with "life energy" or whatever agenda you're trying to push. He fights off based who was strongest in that specific moment If you were talking about "potential" then he wouldn't have targeted Dagon.

Fun fact: Toji (and Yuuta) are based off the creators actual father. He even asked them if Toji was based off him, and they didn't know how to answer. Lord have mercy. 😂 Gege seems close to their father though, and Toji is their favorite character. So it's pretty wholesome.
