Hi, what wire(s) do I tap into for the reverse light so it automatically turns on when backing up? [07 Honda Civic]

It would be nice if you could do a review on your Mira Dash cam does it have a reverse camera as well and how good is the mirror when you’re trying to look behind you and can your turn the mirror on to just look at the back when driving or stopped in the drive-through is it 4K video how clear is the video does the dash cam have a microphone as well how good is the recording video at night time and day time and with sun glare where can I pick it up from would appreciate the review

Couple of questions - the GPS. Anything extra you have to do for it, like a subscription or whatever? Does it automatically time stamp while recording? Also, how do you like the voice commands? Finally, how is it as just a regular rear view mirror, no streaming going on? And if it’s set up like that (no streaming) will the rear camera come on automatically when shifting into “R” (assuming you’ve wired it correctly)? Thanks.

The GPS doesn't require anything extra, besides the software to view the data on your PC but it imposes the current GPS coordinates on the video along with the current speed. As a regular mirror, it's a bit on the dark side but that has the advantage of reducing glare at night from headlights behind at night but I find it a bit dark during the day. And the rear camera comes on automatically when you shift into reverse as long as it wired up correctly regardless of how you have it set up

Thanks for the video I have a 2008 Honda Civic I take it there is plenty of wire for the rear camera when lifting and shutting the boot when wiring into the reversing light?

@Storm No worries at all and that's a good idea to keep the camera rolling but you'll have to manually turn the screen off when you exist the car

@@aSidney only reason hardwiring is so I can use 24hr parking mode. I think it goes in to sleep mode when in 24hr parking mode obviously to save your car battery going flat as if it drops below a certain voltage it doesn’t work. It has a voltage protector on the hard wired kit to stop your car battery going flat

No it doesn't block the AC vents. It's the Xtrons TM100L, can be found on eBay. kzread.info/dash/bejne/noCZzclud9eXicY.html

When you out the car in reverse and it changes view and adds the lines, how does it know you're in reverse?

@@aSidney ah yeah at 3:12, my bad dude 😅 I did watch the whole thing, maybe I got sidetracked for a few seconds. Appreciate the reply, just had the same delivered but waiting on other parts to completely replace the factory mirror 🙂
