I was preparing for my test and I would always wait for the end when Josh would reappear and it would be such a friendly face and was a calming agent to my practice. He would say stuff like congratulations you've reached till the end that shows you're serious and stuff like that. I prepared from the templates that Josh had in the description and got a score of 30/30 in speaking. I didn't focused much on the other sections and didn't do very good in them but was able to get 20 above in each section which was still an accomplishment for me. So here I am thanking Josh for being such a good teacher, mentor and support system in reaching my desired score in speaking and all the other sections. Thankyou Josh you're a gem.

I'm coming back to this video after receiving my TOEFL scores! I had around 10 days to study and I was very worried about the speaking section, especially because I was so out of practice and I have ADHD, which makes it hard to gather my thoughts on such a short time. However, today I found out that I got an overall score of 113 (R:30, L: 28, S:27, W:28), which is so much better than I could have imagined. Your videos and guidance were crucial for me, I can't thank you enough!

I think it’s better to read books using and electronic digital devices for several reason, first I personally always use my digital phone whenever I wanted to read a book because it’s much more easier to control and faster. Moreover, nowadays using books that are made from paper became an old method of reading books second, you have to go to the library in order to get some books that you want and it will Tokyo some time to return them to the library and it’s too much work in order to read a paper book this is why I personally prefer using an electronic device when I read books.

Don´t worry about paraphrasing; you will naturally paraphrase when you speak. As for the second question, I usually recommend two examples because you can usually add more details and vary your vocabulary, but one example is fine as well. Pick an approach that works best for you.

The only problem I face here is that I can not carry on speaking for the full 60 seconds or sometimes even 45seconds because I run out of ideas and get confused. I start repeating stuff which I think will result in deduction of my marks :/ so what should I do to improve it?

Hi Josh, A question puzzled me all the time about speaking section, should I always have to pick a side? or I can just stay neutral? for example, the question - It is a matter of personal opinion whether or not children should receive money for doing household tasks such as cleaning. Here are some points to consider for both sides of the argument: For: Children who contribute to household tasks may feel a sense of accomplishment and responsibility, which can be valuable character-building experiences. If children are paid for doing household tasks, it can teach them the value of hard work and the importance of earning money. In some cases, children may be able to use the money they earn from doing household tasks to save for something they want, which can help them learn about financial planning and budgeting. Against: Household tasks are a normal part of being a member of a family and should be expected of children as a part of their responsibilities and contributions to the household. Paying children for household tasks may give the impression that they are only willing to do them if they are rewarded, which could create a negative dynamic within the family. Depending on the child's age and maturity level, they may not be ready to handle the responsibility of managing money and could end up spending it impulsively or unwisely. Ultimately, whether or not to pay children for doing household tasks is a decision that should be made by the parents based on the individual needs and circumstances of their family. can I answer like that as a neutral?

We usually recommend that a student sticks to one side of the argument because it makes your writing clearer and more persuasive. However, if you feel comfortable taking a middle-ground stance, that is fine too. Just be sure that the question does not specify that you pick just one side (it usually won't).
