Toddler house bed build

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

I made house shaped bed frame for my toddler with my weak carpentry skill. Idea is nothing unique, i just testing my new camera :D There is no matter to put sizes or part list, because there is so many mattresses to choose from, so you need to plan it by yourself. But if you have any questions, feel free to ask.

3:00 it turns out only pins and glue does not hold(if 2 parents try bed at same time 😅 ), it is better to screw there.

You tried that's all that matters its amazing what a bit of creativity, imagination, inventiveness, time and patience etc and your very willing to accept any failures and mistakes then I see no reason for trying if it fails so what how do you know if its going work out without trying it out in first place as long as its strong robust and not going cause any harm and or danger to life then happy days. If its not failed but not quiet right adjust it keeping detailed notes of what was used and where from noting cost and all measurements and things etc is also worth while for future references when I was child I use to do it as always loved tinkering and making things out of scrap pieces wood, fabrics and dishes for mosaic so much fun back then now I'm just physically not able due to my very severe disabilities so now when I do my abstract art and things I also take various photos of my little project from start, middle to end. May be make little curtain little ones love to have a den to hide in as well as bit peace quiet with split in half down the middle like door at entrance to the bed use curtain hooks and scrap strip of fabric to keep it open either fully or partially even scrunchies pulled up from bottom instead and at end of bed small coat rack hooks so little one can hang his things on the top in middle put his name on it. As for your other video on home made cat tree that's also awesome you have very creative talent as for placing rocks inside tubes that's absolute genius idea I highly doubt very many people would even think of weighing it down so doesn't fall over, may be add to it little box shaped cave again animals like hiding using heavy duty material to pad it out for the kitties another idea is square or partially oblong shape with middle cut out kitties love poking there head out while lying on bottom tier hang some toys spray all the rope with child and animal friendly cat nip spray your meowers won't no what's hit them they absolutely adore cat nip in non harmful or not toxic way tends to give them that totally stoned look as if they are in a catatonic stupor my cats couldn't get enough of it. Anyways keep up with good work your doing awesome just remember always pre plan things so u no u got everything u need do pre mock up so u can what it be like before putting it together if your children are old enough let them join in if not let them watch u from safe distance as it will help them learn about it for themselves when older have lots fun with future projects

😄 yea.. i got some tools and some basic skills to use them, but im not big fan of woodworking. And after all this fastening method sucked and i need to change all bolts to regular wood screws.... as i said, im not a carpenter so dont try to repeat my mistakes with this build 😄

I probably need to take down this video, there is nothing usefull in it 😅 my jointing sistem was crap and after some time i rescrew everything with regular wooden screws.

I think it looks very good! But am planning to use screws instead! I live in a apartment and the reason why am asking is because, i want to cut the wood att the store and than bring it home and put it together. And do not have that much space around here to cut anything.

@@ndueleka8729 then it all depends from matress size. I have a large mattress so that it is more comfortable to sleep next to the child, 90x190cm. then I calculated the materials around the mattress accordingly. if there was a small mattress 60x120, the house would look much cute
