I HAVE READ AND HEARD??? THAT THIS WHOLE DOUBLE ALBUM WAS RECORDED USING A STUDER 16 TRACK, 2 INCH MASTER RECORDER, TAPE SPINNING AT 30 IPS WITH NO NOISE REDUCTION, THRU AN EARLY BEST OF THE BEST NEVE RECORDING BOARD; AND SEVERAL MICROPHONE LOCKERS STUFFED WITH ALL OF THE VINTAGE, CLASSIC, AND THEN CURRENT BEST MICS EVER MADE...CERTAINLY SOUNDS THAT WAY.

GOD, I love this man!

This is a clip from Todd's documentary "The Ever Popular Tortured Artist Effect" -- it was made several years after I Saw The Light was released. This is an older Todd playing himself. The documentary is quite unusual if you haven't seen it.

Indeed! Apparently Hello It's Me is a more popular song according to some of the music fans group I'm in...It is always posted on Facebook...I prefer I Saw The Light., but I can't remember which song was released first..

It's 6:00 pm. I'm sitting on my back deck, and it's a comfy 75 degrees. Just sparked up a doobie and put this song on. Sublime. I wouldn't rather be anywhere else doing anything else right now.

Funny that the final image of this video would be on the front cover of Todd Rundgren's Utopia. What an amazing album that was but not for those of you who enjoy pop tunes). It was the ultimate progressive rock album.
