You don't know that whoever becomes the new owner won't do as well or even better than Roman.... us fans should go into this new era expecting to do better than we did under Roman.... especially if we can keep Tuchel, and invest in the players he wants so he can build the squad he wants.... we've seen that type of ownership work with Liverpool and City.... if you ask me, the only reason Chelsea aren't in the same conversation as City and Liverpool is because we have been too quick to let a manager go because they didn't win trophies and/or the league.... personally, with Tuchel at the helm, we will always be in the conversation for the FA cup and Carabao cup, as well as shown we can make it deep into the UCL, as well as consistently finishing top 4; but if we invest in the players Tuchel wants and hold on to Tuchel, I have no doubt that we will be in the title race conversation going forward.... hell, we were in the title conversation, and even favorites to win the league until Chilwell and James got injured

Politics is usually the main reason. To really compete at the top you have to invest an awful lot of money and to most people it’s not worth it unless you want to sportwash like Middle East and Russia have been doing. Look at the most expensive signings we have made : Torres Lukaku Havertz Werner Shevchenko and more and none of them have been a success, not really, havertz is a Chelsea legend but he’s not been a star. Why are people complaining ? Liverpool is owned by an American and so far it has turns pretty well for them.
