he's not underrated. he's a legend amongst comics. he's just from that generation of new york comics who didn't come into prominence during the age of podcasts, so newer fans of comedy don't know him as well. he's one of my favorites too

I also have misophonia! It’s the worst & it makes everyday life difficult. Gum snapping is at the top of my list, including all of Todd’s audio assaults. To get the Marriott points when the production company's card is on the room, just put your card down for incidentals and buy at least one small thing (even just a candy bar), and it will credit your account with all the nights. I loved this. Todd is one my favourite comedians. My sister has filled up her house and our dads with all her stuff. It is extremely stressful to know a hoarder. When my father passes I don’t know how I’m going to get her stuff out of there. I ruminate on it daily. Asking a hoarder to get rid of something is like asking them to remove a limb. Like bodybuilding, it’s a highly visible mental illness.

I was self diagnosed ADHD. Some friends said, "of course you have it." Like Todd, I hoped a pill would help me be with problems like organizing, tidying up, keeping less...... I finally was tested with a psychologist and neurologist and they almost laughed at how far from ADHD I tested. I think he was right with the hard wired comment vs hoarding because of trauma. I know there are a lot of us that fall into this category. Not hoarders, not ADHD, not just imperfect housekeepers, but do need help. I am curious to hear how his test for ADHD turns out.

I was diagnosed with ADHD 2 years ago at 38. Medication changed my life in the most profound ways. I experienced a quiet mind for the first time in my life with my first dose. Never had the slightest idea of what was wrong with me, until I heard another comedian talking about their diagnosis on a podcast. I’m grateful they talked about it or I’d probably still be suffering, or maybe not, as I couldn’t take life anymore.
