TODD (A Todd Rundgren Documentary By JSK) Part 2/4

Фильм және анимация

- IMPORTANT UPDATE! Hi this is Jason, I made the doco. I decided after some years to watch it again and I'm absolutely appalled by the adverts that keep appearing throughout it. I wanted people to know that it is NOT MY CHOICE. I am sorry it interferes with the flow of the film but as there are copyright claims the holders have monetized each play of the videos. That's fine for them, just wanted to let people know I don't make a cent nor ever intended to. Thanks for watching. TODD is a 4 hour documentary edited, produced & directed by musician and artist JSK (aka Jason Stuart Kamasz) chronicling the life of Todd Rundgren. The film is an entirely home-made project and is a non-profit work. The film is narrated by Todd himself having utilized audio from interviews spanning 40 years. I hope you enjoy it. Regards JSK

Hiya. I just wanted to extend my sincere Thanks to everybody who has left comments and supported my strictly non-profit, humble home-made Todd documentary. As many would have noticed from viewing the film, it was indeed a labor of love and a 'Giving Back' to TR for all he has given me in my lifetime. I am very happy that so many of you have enjoyed the film and it's only a matter of time before another chapter is added to the series. Kindest Regards, Jason.

JasonStuart Kamasz I'm not familiar with Todd very much although so many hits I do remember. I had 'Communion with the Sun' on a compilation, and liked it. This helps me get a perspective of what he's all about and why he went from singer/songwriter playing piano to being a guitarist/singer for a prog rock band.

I discovered Todd in 1972 and it changed my life for the better and forever. Many folks do not realize the influence and impact that he had on the music and video business . He is well known and acknowledged as a brilliant and prolific producer. A genius type composer with future vision. I'm just sayin.

I remember that 1984 TV special in the UK. I had thought it was shown on the BBC but from this documentary I see that it was shown on Channel 4. Thank you for letting me know. I had been doing some searching for it, but believing it to have been broadcast by the BBC I wasn't getting very far. That was a significant video project in 1984. I hugely enjoyed it when I saw it and I am glad to have seen a little of it here.
