I do not now why these videos are so interesting, but I cannot stop watching them. Must be seeing good workers liking their Job. But it could be the relaxing flow of the material. It is o degrees Celsius where I am at. Which our winters were that warm.

Brilliant video, I watched a couple of the cobblestones ones last night, which got me onto this .Fascinating to watch. The avalaches are spectacular.

What a wonderfull job. Bravo young men. Watching from Greece with love and respect.

You can't see it in the video, but I can only imagine the amount of coal dust.

Coal huh? 🤔 A lot of dust must be produced moving that mound around and on the conveyor belt....I noticed neither of them have masks on. 🤔 Seems to me quick way to get black lung if you keep doing that over and over which I'm sure they do

If you ever wondered how erosion works...

so why not just tie each board to the next board with a single cable leaving 3 meters between them? the boards could then be pulled out automatically you'd need a large drum to wind them onto though.

Some awful looking coal. Probably more dirt than coal to pack like that. The rice and pea coal I grew up with flowed like water and was hard as glass

To protect the conveyor belt. It wouldn't move if the whole weight of the load was on it.

In England..... hard hats, hi viz, safety boots, goggles, harness and life line, permit ........ you get the gist

The boards cover the conveyer belt then the coal or whatever the load is put on. When the conveyer is on, the boards are removed so the load falls onto the conveyer to be taken away.

this is how it was done in the west 50 years ago we now use hydralic doors and augers to keep people away from deadly dust.

the lack of safety features terrifies me. working without any hardhats, no safety shoes, no shirts, no safety harness or reflective vests incase someone gets buried under... crazy work

@@sumeshs8239 Ask a Kentucky Coal Minor about Black Lung and their Retirement. Coal is healthy? Seriously? Did you see them spraying that coal with water? That was not to play slip-n-slide. I am pro-oil/natural gas/coal, but that dust is mask worthy.

This guy is making work difficult for himself. Trim the edges down, then dig into the pile. Digging so deep, he's getting caught out by pile collapses and slipping on un-trimmed edges. Work smarter, not harder man.
