Thanks so much for this video and its English translation. Moving to another country where everything from language to food to plants and smells are ALL new is difficult for any animal...... including us humans. It means a lot to hear just how much Xiao Qi Zi's Panda Caretaker's are watching him, caring for him and helping him adapt. Thank You! ❤
Why this zoo just have grass, no trees just like Chengdu Center...even fake trees and playground for Xiao Qi Zi to play just like Meng Lan or others zoo. Poor Xiao Qi Zi 😢

I think because this is a breeding & research center, not a zoo. I've noticed pandas in zoos have more toys & more items for them to engage their minds. Chengdu base does seem to do better as far as trees & natural environment. I hope Xiao Qi Ji doesn't stay here too long because he loves to climb tress & have fun. He's far off from breeding age yet, so they should just let him have fun like a kid.
