I remember watching this episode years ago. Great to watch it again on here! What a great show!

This is probably the second episode where Muffy was sick except this episode was worse where she had to have an operation after having a sore throat, high temperature, and had a red and swollen throat. The first episode where Muffy was sick was the episode titled "Noses" where Muffy had a cold and she said that her doctor said to stay in bed.

Anyone recognize the voice of the nurse that helped Muffy? That's a very young Terri Hawkes who voiced Serena/Sailor Moon, Princess Sissi, Shreeky and baby Hugs in Carebears, and from so many other series over the years! I've had the pleasure of meeting her twice and emceeing her panels at Anime Revolution in Vancouver. :)

@JeremyAndrosoff Yes, I can definitely see that the nurse is played by Terri Hawkes. In the beginning I thought the nurse was played by Nina Keogh who performs Muffy which explains why she's in this scene without Muffy talking too much and in the scene where Muffy is talking from 18:19-18:25 especially since Terri Hawkes looks like Nina Keogh here. I was assuming that someone else like Bob Dermer (who is Sam Crenchaw's performer) was moving Muffy's body around and it was a recording of Nina Keogh's voice from 18:19-18:25. Plus, I thought as Terri Hawkes (thinking it was Nina Keogh) was carrying Muffy from 20:08-20:16, I was assuming that was Nina Keogh carrying her puppet (that is Muffy who she performs) taking the responsibility of moving Muffy around from Bob Dermer.

Terri Hawkes was just okay for the DIC dub in the 90's, but Stephanie Sheh provided a much better voice for Sailor Moon for the VIZ dub

Dr. Bennett is played by the late Barbara Hamilton, who would later play Ginny the Farmer on seasons 2 and 3 of "Shining Time Station".

Rest in peace Barbara Hamilton as Dr. Bennett.

yes, she died back in 1996 from breast cancer, she was 69

Mrs. Pennypacker was performed by Cheryl Wagner who also voiced Ma Gorg on "Fraggle Rock", did anybody know that?

Of course Jeff can’t be there. Like Waldo the Magnificent said, if he were to leave the store and go outside, he turns into a mannequin for good. Unless Jodie or Sam were to call Waldo to try to reverse the spell

I'm waiting for "Going Out" where Sam and Jeff and Muffy get into a huff about Jodie going to a dance with a boy named Darrel / Adam dressed up as a prince!!!

Do you remember/have the episode where Math Patrol do a cross over? There were 2 monsters characters singing Ugh..a Bug..Ugh. and they were dancing with a ballerina, I think she was Katerina Witt??

@jimt.626 Well, Waldo only kept the magic within the store and if he magically took Jeff to the hospital and went along, Dr. Bennett and the nurse would know he's a mannequin wearing a magic hat when the magic hat is to be kept private between Jodie, Sam, Muffy, and Jeff himself. Although I remember Jeff let Jodie's old friend Karen on the secret of his magic hat from the episode "Moving" probably only because she was a friend of Jodie's. However I remember Jeff almost got his wish come true to be a real person from the episode "Wishes" when everyone was getting a real wish granted for them. Unfortunately, Sam and Muffy wished in anger towards each other (Muffy wished Sam would turn into a sardine sandwich and Sam wished Muffy to disappear) and then Jodie wished she could look like Sam and turned into a sardine sandwich herself. Then Jeff had to wish them back to normal feeling it's better to have normal looking friends than wishing to be a real human.

@@andrewbixler7104 Jeff did say that he wishes he could go at 10:33 and from 17:49-17:53 he did say that he wishes he could be at the hospital to cheer Muffy up and make her laugh and at 19:39 he at least gave his picture as a way of saying that he is not able to go to the hospital and Muffy was at least holding the picture seen from 28:20-28:46.

Do you have the episode where Muffy & Mort get kidnapped by a creepy man with a top hat, he has a slight naisly👃 voice. He puts Muffy & Mort in a cage. He wants to put them in his Circus 🎪 🤹‍♂️ cause he's never had talking mice Sam pretends to a toy 🛥 boat..to distract the guy..& Jeff & Jody pretend to be Manniquens..😊 👋

How does Dr Bennet know the words to "Everything Will Be Fine" and the nurse to both sing along at the end!!

@Anonymous-qg9xx Maybe Jodie and Sam were singing it in the beginning and then Dr. Bennett and the nurse joined in. I did wonder how Jodie and Sam knew the words because it was Jeff and Mrs. Pennypacker who started singing it themselves. Either way, these things have happened on the show where different people have joined in singing songs with Jeff, Jodie, Sam, and Muffy that don't know the lyrics. For example on the episode titled "Smiles", Jeff, Jodie, Sam, and Muffy were singing a song titled "A Smile Is A Frown Upside Down" and at the end of the episode they sang that song again where Sam's best friend named Sourpuss Sal surprisingly knew the lyrics since she wasn't in the store when Jeff, Jode, Sam, and Muffy started singing it.

@@afriendofbean And of course in the Daisies episode...Greedy O Grady starts to sing the "Help Each Other" song at the end without never hearing it first!! And in "Storms" Mitch never knows the words to Snap Clap and a Chuckle yet he still sings it at the end!! In the episode Ice Cream, Flora Frimble sings the Ice Cream song without hearing Jodie and Jeff sing it first!!! I'm sure there are many other eps where the guest characters join in with the main characters in a song they have not yet heard.....

@@Anonymous-qg9xx I have heard those episodes you mentioned but, I'm not familiar with them (I will have to watch them on KZread sometime) except for the "Storms" episode. Also yes, Mitch didn't know the lyrics to "Snap, Clap, and Chuckle" where he was watching and listening to Jeff, Jodie, Sam, and Muffy first (they were showing him how it goes) and then you can hear Jeff saying to Mitch, "come on Mitch" like he was telling Mitch to join in after listening which is why Mitch started singing.
