Just the title alone for this has resonance that I can relate to.
I’m seeing this story 11 hours after it was streamed, having heard a song in my head before coming across it that might suit it...that song was Gypsy Queen by Country Radio. It popped into my head from out of nowhere, with the lines “and I wonder as I go, is there anyone alone, to sing for me...” repeating over & over.

He has to realize many things. It's not my job to make him realize anything. Yes he had to get to rock bottom. Just had to do something. Lots of maturing to do though. I have green eyes. Yes generous except for himself. I didn't get to come last because he put himself last. Yes people have tried making me feel guilty. He has the right to do that. Yes over giver to everyone except to me and I didn't even want anything from him. I'm starting to do better now. We were living together and things were fine to a point. He was manipulated and I felt taken for granted and yes I have felt gutted. I've been manipulated too. Yes he has to actually want to be with me this time.
Funny he did mention he can't just Abandon his family .. and I said .. you're in your 30s that's what you're supposed to do. He moved 14 hours away.
He has very unique green eyes. Like the ocean. Never seen anything like it.
