Toby Mac I just lost my youngest son, he was 24 years old and it has been the hardest thing I've ever gone through. Listening to your music helps me to work through some of my feelings at this time. I have been angry, hurt, sad, felt so much guilt for not being able to do more. He also had an addiction and lost his life to it. I pray for you and your family. Thanks for sharing your story and music. I found your song 21 years through KZread music one night and that's before my son died. God prepares us in ways we don't even realize. It's still hard.

Toby - you have noidea how much this song has touched my heart and life - someday you will. Thank you seems so 'small' to say - but thank you for bringing deep ministry out of inconceivable pain. Like Peter once said - "To who else would we go....?" Peace.

My son I brought to see you a few years ago at Concord Mills in Concord Nc we met you & Mike at a library that same son of mine became addicted to heroin and Od and was pronounced dead on the scene . This song has really been ministering to me. I have been playing it over and over for the past couple of days. I even looked for the verse on God rolling up his sleeves. It's in Isaiah 52:10 (MSG) but other versions say: The Lord hath made bare His holy arm in the eyes of all the nations... It tells me that God is more than able to deliver, to save, to help us when we need it. I thank God and Toby Mac for this song.

I lost my 13 year old little cousin last month due to an accident. I miss her like crazy. It's not fair. Please pray for her parents Robert and Angie, her brother Elliot and her two sisters Audrey and Emma. She was a kid who could brighten up a room just by entering. She was like an angel. Appreciate your words Toby, and I grieve with you for Truett. My brother's friend just passed away from suicide... grieving is tough and reading others' comments helps us realize we're not alone. But it's still heart breaking.

My three girls love you Toby. Your songs are ministering to a 7yr old, 5 and 3yrs old and me at 32. It just amazes me how I can connect with them through your music. And they ask me to explain every word and the stories in your videos. I do my best to interpret it all but sometimes it takes me back and I have to think about why You said or did a video a certain way. The rolling up his sleeves again line man I dint even know that was in scripture but just that one has encouraged me so much the past few months. Also when they asked about Speak Life I used it to teach about always saying good things and not being mean to one another. I could go on and on but whenever we are having character building lessons a line from a Tobymac song pops up. Please continue doing what you do. i love it i lost my husband to drugs 4 years ago in Nov. and I am having to live around a lot of active addicts and it is difficult. i experienced a 31 year old young man being taken away in a Morgue Van on Sept. 14th due to Overdose. It is heart breaking, I am 60 and Homeless but Mr. Mac your music has blessed me since Heaven Bound and this song now is helping me to hang on when everything in my life looks like there's no way out.
