Not Disney, but he did show up in Road to El Dorado in a minor role at the beginning with the guy that Tulio and Miguel use the loaded dice against.

Dude he shoulda gone in the end and been like: "Oh! And before I forget Sam, do you... want to play a game?"

I met him at a horror convention I volunteer for. He's really nice and soft spoken

It wasn't really until that Chris Rock semi-sequel that I noticed how much personality Tobin Bell gave to the series. His presence was surely missed, without him that movie felt like it wasn't part of the series. Yeah, sure it had completely different pace and style, but Tobin Bell delivering lines was always best part of the Saw movie in my opinion. He has such good way of storytelling.

And it was still more than his appearance in Saw 3D. I was able to live with his appearances in Jigsaw. If Hoffman was still around, we may have had more flashbacks with him. There's a new guy now, Logan, and they need to set him up before piling on with the flashbacks. It just occurred to me that John barely appeared in the first movie. For most of it, he was just a corpse on the bathroom floor.

From a film making perspective it makes sense. Jigsaw is basically a soft reboot (i.e. it’s connected to the originals but doesn’t require you to have seen them), and they’re setting up a new character to take over as the Jigsaw Killer going forward. John’s appearances have to be limited so he doesn’t totally overshadow his successor, who we will likely be following in future films.

@@nemesi8800 you had flashbacks of John from Saw 4- Jigsaw. How much more flashbacks do you want? The events of Jigsaw happened 10 years earlier (when the game we saw getting played) the laser collar trap was 10 years later after the game was played. I think seeing Kramer at the end was good...also if you notice he has the soul patch he sported in the first Saw film.

They COULD NOT have cast a better actor for the role! He is absolutely perfect as Jigsaw, and I do not think the movies would have been as good and successful without him. Jigsaw the movie however.. not that great. But the other 7 movies I've watched multiple times and still love every single one. Gonna go see Spiral in theaters soon as well. Just hoping it's better than the last Saw installment.

One of the things Saw and I have in common is I was born a couple weeks before the First Film and it is one of my favorite franchises on the planet thanks to Tobin for making one of my favorites ever to watch I love Saw and yeah that is one thing I have in common with the First Film

Lmao if you thought this movie was awesome then you must be a new gen saw fan. No real fan of saw ie saw 1-3 maybe 4 will utter those words. It was okay to start but you can't just go back in time and add in some new guy their not developing anything just messing with something that was once good. Also they focus more on the traps than the gritty mystery that the original ones had.

Well looking at this man I got a wisdom, it's not about age, he is so charming and interesting that I forget about age, I could listen to his voice forever!

His voice in reality is soothing

1:00 "These are twisted minds" *Tobin Bell suspiciously gazes towards the camera: AND YOU'RE NEXT* Tobin was talking about how the film has a whole fresh look, but I think there was nothing wrong with the original look. There was important things missing in the new film, like that quick sped up/spinning motion the old films used to do (it's hard to explain) and the grimy, rusty, sharp, painful look to everything - they were gone. A lot of the trap objects looked new and "shiny" instead of old and dirty. Why fix something that's not broken?

Well they look new and shiny because they are. If you think about it, since this game takes place in the past, this is one of the first games Jigsaw ever played, so his equipment is new.

Comedy actors like me -Tobin Bell

It’s weird, I actually like his voice. His normal voice may sound a little like Jigsaw, but his casual conversation voice reminds me of a professor I had. Seems like a cool guy.

Wow, Tobin Bell had an amazing save there earlier when asked the Jigsaw being dead question, being aware there is a bit of mystery in Jigsaw about whether he's really dead or not, so talking about that would have been awkward. Great answer under pressure by him! Also, as always, he's so sweet.

I saw and love every one. It's extremely important to watch them in order.
