Context. Not a big hip hop/rap fan. But this performance is transcendental!! This defined keeping it real ON EVERY LEVEL. The days of rehearsing and performing with the kids running around... trying to sing when my baby girl was messing with my flip flops... I live in Houston where he is a huge part of the Houston culture (that’s his home) but yet he stays humble and gives reverence to the Houston rappers that came before him. He is always going to be different because he does everything himself (clothes, production, videos, promotions)with his family and friends. And yes! All his singers are fiyah and have their own projects.

small correction. not a huge part of the houston culture since its been around long before him. hence his features with true houston legends like paul wall, lil keke, trae the truth and big k.r.i.t. artists that were around when houston influence was being created by none other than Dj screw himself. Tobe comes from the swat just like maxo kream which is hailed as one of the most violent neighborhoods in all of houston texas.

The blonde that raps on that song is his wife and the little girl in the video is his daughter. His wife got skills mad mad skill. If you ever get a chance you might want to react to one of his performances that is a video of a live performance with her. Maybe his Tiny desk performance. So when he talks about his wife all the time he's not just saying that as part of his gimmick or whatever he actually do travel with his wife and he's even said I think in one of his songs that he's asked to do a show and his wife can't come then he's leaving...on FYE FYE..
