Quick video production tip. if you are using a computer screen, just use a capture of that. you can then use the high quality image directly on the screen, while you talk to the side of it

Sorry for late reply! I don't check my videos too often... but, TOAST IS GREAT! Way better than Micros/ Adelo/ Touchbistro which I've used before.

I'm assuming that this system is used with tablets? Any particular brand that goes with it? How much is the system overall? Can I print monthly reports with it? Can I manage credit cards with it from my office as office manager? Thanks

Sorry for late reply! I don't check my videos too often. TOAST is actually not used with an apple / android tablet, like some other POS systems such as square and touch bistro. It has its own self contained hardware system which I actually prefer. There's a LOT of reporting options that Toast enables you to do. Weekly/monthly/customized sales reports and labor reports and much more. Yes, you can also manage credit card transactions and make adjustments in the backend using a computer. Hope this helped.

Sorry for late reply! I don't check my videos too often. You should be able to at the end of your shift on the physical terminal. If you were not able to and closed the shift, you can use the backend at toast tab. Go to "analytics and reports" > "cash" >

The system sucks and the company charges way too much for it. They charge for every little addition or change you make. Small companies can't survive like that. I've made my own system, something a lot more simpler, and linked it directly with my bank and am paying a lot less.

Almost every system will give you the same features at a lot less money, don't believe the "it's free" nonsense. I mean really, it sends an order to the kitchen? - What a novelty. Can't put order a steak without a temperature? Unreal!! It reopens a check, does an auto gratuity based on guest count or check amount?! There is not one feature that is in this system that I haven't programmed 1,000 times with the POS I've been reselling for 20 years. A local reseller is not just a salesperson , there is onsite support and help and advice when you need it. If you have a restaurant, do some major evaluation and don't go with what Tony down the street got - he's not smarter than you, trust me.

I agree that every system does have the same features but how it’s structured for usability differs. One system might be easier to implement gratuity than the other or even processing a refund. I believe these features is what sets certain POS from others. May I ask which system you are using. Would love to learn more as I’m always seeing which system out there works best for our restaurants. - Christine
