So, i'm the creator of the two Toad Simulator Scratch "games" that you looked at and also a fan of your videos, and I gotta say it's pretty cool to know you had a look at them! As many people have picked up on, the original Toad Simulator is heavily inspired by a bit in SMG4's Mario Simulator video. With my lack of skill in making most anything in 2015, it was an easy project to program and put out for a quick laugh. Just something stupid for the sake of being stupid. However, it blew up for a while and was really popular, so that encouraged me to make Toad Sim 2016. Since Toad Sim 2015 was a cheap gag project that was rushed out, I wanted to try a little bit harder and that led to the creation of the Clicker mode, which required more involved programming than classic mode's "Press A" mechanic. There was almost a third game called Toad Simulator 2017: The Toadening, but I had lost motivation to work on them at that point. All that exists on the WIP file is an unfinished introductory sequence that would act as a bait and switch. The intro sequence was another variant of the Classic moment, but it would slowly become corrupted as you kept pressing A before being presented a jumpscare. After an apology, you would be taken to a menu where you could select from an improved Classic Mode, larger Clicker Mode, and a new third mode. But as previously stated, I only had began work on the intro before throwing in the towel. For something explicitly designed to be a stupid throwaway gag of a project, i'm as surprised as anyone that it got as popular as it did. I don't really use my Scratch account much anymore, only occasionally logging in to test things or animate short clips that I don't upload or use for other sites. But i'm glad to see that Toad Sim and it's sequel are still being recognized despite how brain-numbingly dumb they are. Thanks for checking them out, and keep up the good work Connor. :)

Even though this 3 weeks ago I decided to comment anyway. I looked it up and yes mushrooms aren't vegetables, at least not TRUE vegetables. But they are, by the U.S Department of Agriculture, still considered vegetables bc they provide many of the same nutritional attributes.
