We live in the era of great space exploration. So far dozens of probes have reached the furthest corners of the Solar System, orbital telescopes are capable of covering practically all of the visible universe. But this is just the start of our journey, as there are thousands of stars and planets waiting for their explorers within just a few dozen light years from us.
And today we’ll set out on an exciting journey to follow the great missions of the past, present and future.

I love your videos, especially these long form documentaries. Please promote your DOC channel more on your other one, this is too good to go missed.
I can't wait to fall asleep to this. I've watched ugh soo many space documentaries just killing time hoping that y'all would upload a new video. I honestly mean this when I say this. This is My Favorite space channel. Kosmo frfr ❤

Yes! Another person who watches and falls asleep to space documentaries like this! I agree that this is an awesome channel. I also like @olliegueret4348 recommendations as well. Have you heard of and/or watched: History of the Universe, melodysheep (awesome visuals and music), Isaac Arthur, and/or Spark? They also make great compliments to Space news like: Anton Petrov, Fraser Cain, and Cool Worlds.
Love this channel
Everyone loves falling asleep to these videos there are so many great channels on KZread

Absolutely! Especially multiple star systems 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
I just cant wait till see the first signs of life on another planet hopefully in my lifetime but they did just say a couple days ago that James Webb just seen signs on a planet so im definitely waiting for those updates.

Realy I like this video so so much its so interestyng
This is really amazing. The production quality is superb. I wish people paid more attention to programs like these rather than MrBeast and shows that dumb people down.
I love how there is no drama... unlike some other space shows that use emotional words rather than the appropriate language for a scientific documentary
32:40 doesn't work sadly. not sure why you guys mentioned it, it's only use would be to slow down the spaceship
Goodnight everyone ✌🏽
Yes yes We want to know about Astronomical Telescope and parts With full Theory and parts with lens and glasses How to made it.
voyageur II left in the late 1970's, orbited Pluto in the early 2000's and should arrive at Alpha Proximi in another 80,000 years. Still operational, stay tuned for updates
Hope Parker has his factor 50 on. If we could harness just a fraction of one percent of the suns output we'd be sorted.
For the algorithm!
It always astonishes me how people derive these facts from a combination of meassurements with the aid of mathimatics. Newton was so so shy by saying he was stnding on the shoulders of giants. Nowadays he is one of those giants.
Those space probes must be so lonely.
30,000 years to go through the Ort cloud, Voyagers amazing, I don't think I'll get to see that.
I can’t stand listening to this, if it isn’t an AI robot, it sounds like it.
We all know Albert Einstein but very few people remember his younger brother Frank. He was a famous movie star in the late 1930's.
Into the Starfield!!!
Pioneer? I thought it was Voyager 1 &2? Live n learn! 😮
Notice the host make the claim that in 10k years Voyager 1 will reach Gliese 445 after traveling 1.6 light years (20:55)? Gliese 445 is 17.14 light years away. It would take 350,000 years before Voyager 1 arrived!

Closest star to Earth is Proxima Centauri
I am an Astronomy fan...I love anything to do with Space. It's intriguing. I honestly believe that there is a God and it is the Universe itself.
If they want to get to the nearest star quicker they should use a bigger and stronger elastic band to propel them there
oh yes!
We have a long road to go before we even get to Mars. I doubt we will ever make it to another star.
Laws of relativity? Good one. Almost had everyone fooled you knew what you were talking about.
I really enjoyed this, but there's a minor mistake at 44:03. Flight time to moon is actually 3-4 days, not weeks.
12:56 does anyone else feel weird that we will never get those materials used to build that probe back again?
@DavidJohnson-jp4mw
4 ай бұрын
No, I do not feel weird, but think it is great that if other beings run across them we will have left some form of time capsule cruising the universe.
What other dimensions are there other than length, width, breath and time which are required to fix the position of a moving object in three dimensional space?
@richardcaves3601
5 ай бұрын
None. This is science, not sci-fi or fantasy.
👌
In fact, Project Orion, for a nuclear pulse drive, was indeed designed with proof of concept as well :) The nuclear test ban treaty in the early 60's and Kennedy's ignorance killed it. It would have allowed spaceships as big as apartment building to explore the solar system. If I recall correctly, the Apollo astronauts routinely travelled to the moon in 2 DAYS, not several weeks ;)
It would be easier to put in perspective the amount of time it would take for an object to reach an interstellar destination if you gave the speed as a percentage of lightspeed rather than kilometers per hour
Does anyone know if this is a real guys voice or an AI voice? Some of the words sound AI and others sound natural. Kinda crazy

This new AI voice is really unconvincing
It’s weird that I recognize the name of some of these stars from playing Starfield. I’m not sure if that’s something I should proud of or embarrassed of.
How are the satellite able to avoid meteor material when travelling at such speeds

Universum,seet,alles
That is not Pioneer 10 at 16:10, it is Voyager.
I need a TIME MACHINE!!!! 😢😢😢😢
Too many ads. Every 3 minutes? How can anyone fall asleep to this?
Voyagers are interstellar probes...
Brian Badondae, is that you?
Hi people. Question. . . . If we'll find out that "BB" theory is wrong, what's about Nobels prices gained for "successes" in this field. Will stay or will they go back where they came from ??
Is this a persons voice narrating or a computer?
Ye
We will have to find a new way to travel in space.. Even if we can go light speed.. One little rock can destroy a ship and at light speed you will go threw many rocks.. Good Luck.. I am not going to help you, what we have today can make a suitable space travel craft..
What do you mean by 7 times smaller than the sun? Do you mean one seventth the size of the sun?
Light waves have instantly speed beyond Earth gravity. So all distances based on speed limit 300000km/sec in the aether@Earth surface are False.
Why won't it let me say certain
To reach the nearest stars. We can’t. End of video.😊
I am cosmos V.h.c.
WTF is a PLANIT😂
Weird question, is this a human or is it computer generated?
I want you to dub the video in hindi. Please reply copyright!
lol but why even go to another star., its dumb when you think about it,. no need to even go anywhere once you figure out how to exist in space., worry about figuring out interstellar travel later
