"To Paris With Love" is co-written by Donna and Bruce Roberts, and is produced by Peter Stengaard. Remixers include: Wictor Mysliwiec and Michal Bojanowic (WAWA), Eddie Amador, Craig Christensen, Jonathan Mendelsohn, DJ DLG and Automatic Panic. All are available on i tunes now.
'To Paris With Love' has reached #1 on the Billboard Dance charts for the week ending Nov. 6, 2010. This marks 5 decades of number ones on the Billboard charts for Donna a unique and remarkable achievement.

Just saw this video of Donna's last single. I had the opportunity to see her in concert twice...the second time on her last concert tour, I believe. It was her Crayons Tour in 2008. It's been 10 months since she went to be with the Lord, and I still miss her presence in this world. I know she is with the Lord, though.

Donna Summer has been my Queen since I first bought her LP "Once Upon a Time" in 1977. I was a young boy then. She is irresistible, one of my wishes is meeting her one day or attending one of her concerts. I Love you Donna...

When I first heard Donna sang, and that was in 1977 when I listened "I feel love" for the first time, the Diva begun to be my inspiration and source of personnal way of comprehention of musical life for over 40 years! She was and she is still THE VOICE, THE EMOTION, THE MOVE.

This song was originally written for Louis Vuitton spring showing, for his spring collection (her youngest daughter was selected as the model for that years spring collection of footwear and bags); it was extended into a single, after her friends told her they loved the song.

Love it - so classy. I'm anxious to see releases of tracks from her unpublished collection. I guess Sony/Burgundy label is in charge of that. I know she was working on a few projects before her illness. So glad I was able to see her live in 86 & 99.
I bought this song on I tunes before I saw these video's I have played it to death, but had never heard it until after she died. It didn't seem to get a fair introduction. I was always a big fan of hers in her early years. My kids used to dance to her music now they are in late 30's Wow her death is on my mind a lot! Special lady!

This was Donna Summer's last #1 song. That was inspired by how much she loved Paris and perhaps her love of the luxury brand Louis Vuitton. She actually performed at a party for the opening of a big flagship Louis Vuitton Store in London and in this video here on utube there is a clip from that performance where she is singing with the head designer for Louis Vuitton Mark Jacbos..

LOL...that song was in demo phase, there was no arrangement completed for the song, as Quincy Jones was not interested in including it, on the project. That is why you hear the minimalistic piano in the back of the song only. It was released as the b side of the initial 7 inch singles released in the US, for Love Is In Control.
