Bro dropped the hardest Atticus Finch edit and thought we wouldn't notice
There is a reason why the book is called "To Kill a Mockingbird"... Tom Robinson was a pure soul, just like like the generous mockingbirds.
bro made the best Atticus edit and thought we wouldn't notice ☠️☠️

Best damn edit I’ve ever seen
Atticus is my absolute favorite character in any book I've even read. Atticus is introverted because he disagrees respectfully with the majority to defend Tom Robinson which everyone assumes to be bad. Atticus teaches an unforgettable lesson that inspires me to this day. To know "real" emphathy, you must be willing to acknowledge the things that a person may be going through. Atticus is intuitive because of his will to defend a black man despite everything that everyone thinks about him. Maycomb is poisoned with prejudices with false judgements that affect the reputation of the character. Atticus has the ability to feel things because of his interpretation of other people's viewpoints and his own beliefs. Atticus has to jump to a conclusion in the end because he's a lawyer, but he acknowledges everything that applies to the situation, truly revealing a strong sense of empathy. In my opinion, Atticus is one of best written characters in writing especially for the time period this book was written in.

@PandaciteYT You know I had to write an essay on this for English before. Anyway, I just am observant of realizing who Atticus is as a character. As he mentioned in chapter 3, "You never really understand a person until you consider things from his point of view" (Harper Lee, Page 33).

I’m 53 and just read this book 2 years ago. I can’t believe I was never required to read this in school. I have reread this so many times now. I love the book and the movie.

I’m reading it at age 42. I know it was on my required reading list in school but I don’t remember it. I started it again last week. I’m a slow reader so it will be a little while. I haven’t seen the movie. It’s been eye opening for me so far because I’m discovering I identify with Scout more in the book than the other characters. My interpretation of what I’m reading is different than what most people have gotten out of it.
Atticus was such a good father
Great movie. Actually just watched it recently. You can find the full thing on here free.
This movie is such a masterpiece of history. My favorite characters are Atticus Finch Jem and Scout Finch Dill Tom Robinson And Boo Radley

I have just read the book and it was AMAZING 🤩
Wow whenever I was reading the book to kill a mockingbird I don't like reading I just despise it on all levels I find it boring but when I read chapter 20 of to kill a mockingbird because I was forced to read this book for English wow that was a crazy chapter not going to lie Atticus being like in the name of God believe him it's like dang Atticus get them
Atticus is a selfish and intolerable man. (Read second book 💀)
I always believed that Truman Capote edited and rewrote the story to make it a bit more interesting. He was the actual talent and her best friend until he wasn’t. 🤷♂️

Apparently not too many read the sequel To Set A Watchman ya Atticus didn't turn out to be the great guy y'all think he was

It isn’t really a sequel. It was a first draft of the original story and really never should have been published.

@jonathanmcvay4499 y'all can cope however you want but the fact will always remain that Harper wrote the story and in her mind Atticus was a racist and he regretted his past choices.

Exactly it was rewritten to make more wholesome 😅 To set a watchman was the original, but publisher figured it needed to be more wholesome so it could sell. I bet Truman helped rewrite it and should have given credit.
