Todedevu or Thodedevu is a special, famous and unique traditional sweet dish of villages (Malnad). Many people are already aware of how to make todedevu, and many aren't aware about it. This requires a special preparation and special pot seasoned for it. .This pot is placed invert while preparing this sweet. The batter is made by using equal amount of (rice + rice flour) + Jaggery. Batter is very liquid like water (Neer dosa batter). A clean cotton cloth is required to dip the batter and spread it over pot. Proper folding method must be followed. It turns crisp after cooled, then airtightly packed. This can be stored up to 1 month. Ghee and hot milk can be the best combinations for this.
