If it’s your first attempt or first Drop - and you feel you can definitely improve ; have the zeal to study harder and achieve your goal- then yes - consider a drop! If it’s your 3/4th attempt and you’re getting any Govt college - take it - MBBS and journey of Medicine is too long - you’ll get more opportunities to make up - be it MD or DM - don’t waste time in the beginning itself. If you’re confused whether to take a private college or drop for Government college- the get out of the stigma that Pvt colleges are bad. They are excellent and better than many government colleges especially Manipal/ KMC Mangalore. My current DM batchmate is from a Private college/ one of my ex girlfriends was from a private college. The only function is whether your parents can afford it easily or not. Whether to drop or not - don’t drop if you want to become a doctor just for money/fame - you’ll be disappointed! Do if you’re passionate about human body!

Sir I completed my 12th in year 2020 NEET 2020 (without any preparation) 295 NEET 2021 420 NEET 2022 601 Sir I belong to UP and I'm on border line for state colleges if I will get agovernment medical college in UP then I will definitely take it but if not I will be getting South Indian colleges through aiq and I have no exposure to their regional languages. Sir this is my first attempt with 12th and I got 591 and rank 24957(gen) from Odisha. Because of some problems in centre I scored this otherwise I would have scored minimum 680. One part of my mind wants to take drop and prove myself whereas other part says to join any govt medical college in odisha as my vision is wide and time taking. So what will be better Sir? Took a drop this year after scoring 223 last year. I worked hard. About 10 months of hard work. No phone, no movies, no fun, nothing!!! Even my parents used to say that they won't really get to see me anymore even though we're all in the same house. I was rlly prepared and scored high in mock tests. I was confident in myself to crack Neet. But everything changed after the exam. After everything, after working myself fucking hard, I only scored 430. It devastated me. I used to be an above average scorer in schools till my 12th and I didn't even worked hard for that like I did for last 9 months. Still I failed. Cried for two days straight. I've worked so hard and even neglected both my physical and mental health. I was mentally in a dark place and I'm not strong enough to put myself through that again. So, I've decided to quit and I'm very much proud and happy with my decision. No regrets. With my score, I can secure bds seats in my state. I'll either pursue that or btech. It was a life-changing experience.

Passion cannot always be a career but when you leave your passion to do something else in life there is a picture of you being awarded or thanked for being that one person people believe on and it pains with a imprint in brain that you couldn't make it to that far. I dont think so that taking a drop would be a good option even if u r getting a govt. Medical college..u can actually save that drops for later periods...and can make it to AIIMS D..mbbs is almost the same in all govt. Colleges..it is u who will have to work hard...I myself has scored 60 3 marks thos year with first drop first attempt...take a clg...nd go for it..believe me i m saying this after a lot of research between exam and result gap.. sir you keep recommending memoneet app, i tried it and loved it. but i have a question, how do i effectively use that app. normally i just read 1 topic from ncert and then solve memoneet questions. Suggestion : dear brother /sis. The only thing that stops students to go foriegn for study is money /MCI EXAM(Exam to get licence in India after MBBS). This year NMC (national medical council) has changed the rules as if u study MBBS in India or foriegn u have to qualify a common exam called NEXT (NATIONAL exit test). Money to join foriegn colleges is less than 30 lakhs for total MBBS . This year I got 251 I don't want to risk my study in long term .so I joined best foriegn clg . Remember:only problem is being in distance from ur loved ones(2months a year we will be in India) NEET qualification is needed to join

And i have slacked a lot in my 11th, i admit it. whatever i scored this year is the result of my one month prep. i was taking coaching in aakash, and it all went online, both the years..so my doubts remained unsolved and the teacher student interaction was super scanty. i swear bhaiya, agar main offline classes leti, kisika baap mujhe 630+ laane se rok nahin pata. i have been a gold medallist in several olympiads and had cracked ntse stage 1. not boasting, rather i wanna say ki i have brains, but i was not clever enough to use it properly. but bhaiya, ab sawaal yeh banta hai, KYA MAIN KAR PAUNGI? KYA MAIN AGLE SAAL 650+ LAA PAUNGI? i started my prep again from 18th july, i have completed the revision and practice of 25 chapters out of 96 chapters...main yahan itna kuch kyun likh rahi hun mujhe bhi nai pata...bas mujhe ye sab share karne ke liye koi chahiye tha...isiliye aapse share kar rahi hun...please help bhaiya...i beg you

Depends on which branch you want. Surgical branches are better in manglore. Medicine is better in manipal.

Okay listen!! My friend got 607 last year and got SNMC Agra and another who got in 630s and got baba saheb Ambedkar in mop up rounds. They are both in general category. Trust me, at the end nobody cares which college you’ve gone to. You will easily get a college in all India quota if you don’t get one in delhi. But please don’t drop for this reason.

Don't consider new AIIMS over old well established state government college .... See the location of that AIIMS it may be in outskirts area... Far away from city life... Consider all these also

I gave my first attempt in neet 2022 and scored 612 marks (obc rank 6580).I know i didn't gave my 100% and committed 7-9 silly mistakes due to less time frustration (as bio paper was quite lengthy).I always dreamed of studying mbbs from top aiims rather than maharashtra govt.college. I am not at all happy from inside as my Akash mock test likely had averàge score of 660-665 .I'm confused to take seat or study more harder for next year.pls suggest me sir!!🙏

Please for god's sake don't take a drop.... AIIMS is not the end .... It takes a lot to score 612 mark ..... Please take that gov clg and rather focus on doin mbbs than doin it in famous clg.....I'm sure u have a lot of potential to score well in PG All the best

Hello doctor. I want to take an advice for my college. I can get gmc Mohali which is established last year and has a good exposure of the city and hospital. I also get gmc Faridkot which is old but it is a small city and I and hesitant about this college as I prefer Mohali more than Faridkot. Which one should I choose according to you?

sir i have scored 85 marks in my 2nd attempt had health issue before n on the exam day n even after exam for a week i don't know wht should i do bcoz ppl say its not possible to score 600+ when u r below 100 i m really sad but on the other hand i know i will be able to do it if i use full potential of mine

Sir I got 665 marks and 2093 AIR in neet 2022. I am confused between AIIMS Patna, PMCH and DMCH. DARBHANGA is my hometown, and due to family obligations I need to be in my village at least once a week or 10 days. What should I do. Would it be alright and wise to join DMCH?

@@19andshy I did end up giving the exam, scored 569 marks this time..I don’t think I am eligible to give you tips but just follow ncert books as long as you can…practice phy and chem numerical daily and do not leave bio prep…bio got my score lower otherwise I could’ve scored 340 atleast. I did my prep from aakash coaching but all of it was during pandemic so online classes only😐PLEASE GIVE MOCK TESTS starting atleast 4 months before the exam month like around Feb March or even Jan if u can…goodluck!

What about taking bams bhaiya...any future scopes if not a chance for mbbs...is it better to choose bds than bams..

Mere hisab se dono will work only if u have money! Coz after both bds, bams u have to set up clinic... Don't know if it works or not coz u can literally see dental clinics everywhere literally dental clinics are more like shops these days😶 aur bams clinics mein log zyada nhi aate all will go for mbbs doctors only suppose u've opened a bams clinic paas mein ek clinic hain which ha Dr jisne mbbs kiya and no md still ppl will choose mbbs doctor.. bams clinic will be successful only if established years ago matlab if ur parent's clinic and then u r continuing aisa hain toh chalega but also less chances!!!

Notes banana ho toh 11th se taiyaari shuru karo warna drop year mein toh sirf printed notes aur NCERT se padhna chahiye (not for chemistry and physics). Sirf short notes banao warna exam ke baad pachtana padta hai.
