Thanks for stopping by. This one needed a good redo and I always enjoy the riffs in this one. The intro riff I can't tell if there's multiple layers playing as it sounds like these big stretchy hand chords. The only live footage I can find of this song doesn't show this part clearly so judging by Matt's use of strechy hand chords all over this album coupled with the minimal rhythm guitar layering on the album Im assuming this is how its played. Also noticed some small details in the chorus not present on the last play through. Im not a big fan of Matt's solo here and actually improvised something at the end on my last play through so I figured I'd attempt the full original solo this time. Dig my guitar tone here.

Seeing a re-recording & re-release of this cover is a surprise 👀 but a welcome one! 'Ember To Inferno' is such an underrated album in their catalog; and this song is a gem 💎🤘 ALWAYS loved the harmonies at the end. That part is SO much fun to play 🤘😤🤘

The harmonies at the end are great. In the live footage from 2009 I found Matt plays one of those harmonies during the intro, gives it almost a jam feel

Maybe a tiny tiny bit. I played along to the drum and bass track and this album is known for having drum tempos all over the place

Definitely, there’s some parts in here that are a tiny bit out of sync with the drums in the verses especially that I noticed after uploading. The beauty of energetic real drum playing not time aligned to a grid.
