TNVC BNVG-M Artemis

The BNVG-M is a long awaited brand new night vision goggle designed and made by TNVC! It is modular in design for use in either ANVS aka Anvis or BNVS aka dovetail configuration power supply.
Available now.
I forgot to edit in the clip showing it on the scale. The ANVS version weights 19.1oz. The BNVS is about 20-21oz.

Agreed, I love the simplicity & lightness of the -6 / -9, but they’re not as tough and the lens filters aren’t ideal on the ground. The Artemis ANVS is basically a ground based version similar to a F5050 but unlike the 5050 is readily available for everyone and with unfilmed WP and the housings are available for DIY or as an upgrade

How do these stack up compared to a tnvc built RNVG? I really like the idea of the Anvis system but concerned about salt water, sand & mud messing with that ball detent connection. Any suggestions either way? Cheers

I had a pair of sentinels with the Anvis configuration. I loved the idea of how the on/off function was realitvely automatic. My issues were 1. Occasionally the ball detent would disengage from minimal force 2. The A/B night vision ball detent mount was so incredibly tall that it put the goggles in an unnatural position. I bought the expensive GSGM and battery pack system and eneded up switching back to a standard dove tail -- super disappointing. Do you thing the Artemis will will perform differently considering the mount is different ? Thanks for the video

I owned Sentinels with ball detent as well. The Artemis is a much design. Obviously the same potential issues are there in regards to the ball detent mount in regards to it being easier to break away from the mount

initially I didn't have much interest in this housing, but now that I'm back on my MOD3B for ANVIS use (Had a Katana and dropped it, it broke) I gotta wonder if it's a superior ANVIS interface to the MOD3B, or if it's lighter.
