I was 9 when I first listened to this and now I live in my own apartment, paying my own bills and taking care of my aging grandmother. I remember watching this video when I was a toddler and thinking about how cool minecraft was before my parents got it for me on the Xbox 360 when it 2as released there. Now, 13 years later, I've just graduated highschool early, I still have the working Xbox, and I decided to revisit this masterpiece. Minecraft shaped my childhood and love for creativity, as it has for many others. It was quite literally the big thing of the Gen Z generation.

It was a late summer evening in 2013 when me and my brother discovered Minecraft songs on KZread. It was an experience I cannot explain. The music, Lyrics and the visuals were just incredible. I felt like I had made the most amazing discovery in my life. Something about the songs connected so perfectly with my 10 year old self. I was obsessed. I would spend hours watching Minecraft song compilation videos. It brought me so much happiness. Almost 10 years later, I come back to visit these songs that made my childhood so special. The nostalgia hitting me and my emotions like a speeding freight train. The memories, The joys of being a kid. The countless hours watching and playing Minecraft.
