I'm interested to see how your going to make your raised bed. Jealous of your stream BTW, I haven't seen running water in years.

I'm worried you will be disappointed when that video comes out here in a couple weeks.... as I opted to buy vs build :( They do look very nice though, almost have them full of dirt (so much dirt needed), and will be ready to plan after last frost the first of May.

Will your wife get suspicious when she smells cedar in her clothes basket.😮 Turned out really nice. Making me envious of the large garden, I’m cutting back.

Jealous no...mad yes. I always come home with dirt, straw or much in the cuffs of my pants and leave it strewn all over the house :)

I agree, tends to dry up in the summer, but it is still nice to have.

Looking good. How deep will the topsoil be, and what are you planning on planting in the new bed?

Filling them to the top, so for the shorter ones there will be about 11" of soil, and 17" in the taller ones. In the short ones I'm going to use 2 of 4 for strawberries, that way I will not have to replant them every year. For the other two short beds I'm going to build a bridging trellis and try and grow cucumbers. For the smaller / taller beds, one will get the blueberries I had to relocate to build the water harvesting system, one will be reserved for mints, another for herbs, another for garlic I think, and the last one I'm thinking flowers :)
