Tbh 2018 April x Donnie is super weird for me since their grandma like kinda lived inside her for a while and also they consider her as an extension of the clan, so I find it..odd, to say the least. But also for 2012 I despise April x Donnie. April was so toxic and played with his feelings. She was also a pick me and had an overall bland personality. Every time Donnie got confidence, she came back and cut him down. It sucks. Plus the fact in that series that the turtles were JUST mutated turtles, not created through Splinter’s dna like in Rise kind of makes it uncomfortable for me. Idk just me?? Anyways sorry abt the rant ik this is a superrrr old video I just felt I needed to get this off my chest.

I’d say that while Apritello was practically shoved down our throats in the 2012 series, Rise Donnie thinks of her more as a sister (and not Leo and Karai type sister)
