IMHO opinion, Masood's edit showed how astoundingly genius Leroy is as a new character whether intentionally or otherwise. Those bogged down in green ranks shell out about $5.99 and it's almost always as TMM says, instant red rank. It gets them to give Bandai Namco money and to play the game again. Personally my matches against the character has been 50/50. I do enjoy playing against Leroy weirdly enough. 😅

@@thecasualhawk well this is my first tekken game and i started in september. i mained katarina and i hit vanguard in like 60 wins then i stopped bc i was scared to lose it. then leroy came out and so i was like i can play ranked without losing my top rank. like 50 wins and 1 loss and im 1 from red 😂😂

Either leroy gets stripped to the bone even though hes broken and the fall from ssssssssssss tier to b would be ludacris and to much work or just buff literally everyone else so they can deal with him😂

tbh i never touched any character besides gigas cloudio and lucky Chloe, so my general reaction when i play any other character is that it feels like they're really good and powerful

3:30 T.M.M.S. has P.M.S.P.T.S.D. over Leroy's release. Just because Leroy is broken it shouldn't detract from the fact that he's one of the coolest characters, original and otherwise, to be released in a Tekken game for a long time. Tekken seems like they're getting their shit together by including other F.G.C. characters, Akuma & Geese, having a new original character that IS FUN TO PLAY, Leroy Smith, including legacy and old school characters, Ganryu and Zafina, and by upping their game with characters and the story, the new Thai kickboxer Cappuccino man. So, don't bash Bandai for addressing these issues but not being able to do it all at once, just be glad that Tekken is alive and well for once in a long ass time.

I'd play Leroy and probably enjoy him once he's nerfed. I thankfully don't run into him a lot especially in green ranks. I barely see a Leroy in green ranks. So my little fondness the character is still there.

I'm using characters I never have experienced with or even practiced with in green to somewhat have a bit of have fun. But still it's green rank.

I just started tekken, and Leroy definitely just doesn't have appeal to me just based off how "unfair" he is. When Samurai Shodown came out, Genjuro was in the exact same boat. Best...everything. Then they nerfed a couple of things and he became one of my favorote characters. There just isn't much satisfaction playing an actual boss character. Fighting leroys isn't a big deal though tbh, Dragunov has more than enough tools to create a favorable situation for himself despite leroy's arsenal.

I'm not trying to say in a unfriendly way that you're too new to the game to say that. When you will across the red ranks you'll notice how fucked up Leroy is. I play Tekken since T3 and this is just not fun anymore.

If they were to revamp Leroy and make him a balanced character in Tekken 8, would people begin to like him or is he already spoiled for us all?

I know we all hate Leroy. But we all were here to experience this history in Tekken. 10 years from now people are gonna look back on this and our comments will be here for them to reflect on this character 😂😂

Tekken community should have banned him from tournaments until he got patched but didn't dare to. Tbh it's a disgrace that something that ruins the game can happen and the community has to wait 1.5 months for it to be fixed. There hasn't been a bigger problem with the game that has made the community as disgruntled as Leroy and taking this long to change it would be unacceptable in other games. He should have had an instant minor fix and a bigger one down the line which was more refined if anything. This is bullshit.
