I haven't played the original Mario Party in a long time. My favorite was always 2. Great stuff.

To answer the question of why Luigi has an engine room. According to this game's instruction manual, apparently Luigi is actually smarter than Mario. Not "evil genius" smart like Commander Yocko would suggest, but he's allegedly smart, nonetheless.

By the way guys, in Crazy Cutter, you just have to score over 80 to win. More than one person can win that minigame.

I think Matt needs some counselling to get past his trauma over Bowser spaces from St. Patricks day.

I had the most fun & the most memories playing this one. The commercials were excellent too. A lot of party games seem to have copied some of the games from this one I've seen. And I never needed gloves for this game, it never hurt my hand. Budokai 1 with the piccolo special beam cannon minigame is the only thing in video games I can remember seriously destroying my hands.

After this, you guys need to play Mario Party 3. In my opinion the best mario party.

wow its a shame because I really don't like the car idea and the 3ds game was dull and the friend play was awful

The BSC should do a rematch of Mario Party 1.

I used to play the crap out of this game,and it took quite some time before my palm even started to feel anything. Dunno why some people complain after 1-2 minigames about their palms.

Wait until you see Bash n Cash, a 1v3 game that's LITERALLY UNWINNABLE for the 1 player. Oh and the 1 player can lose forty coins. Easily the worst minigame in the series.
