These events are so fun to watch, despite them being in arenas.

It's a fans sport, incredible the teams are able to be there! It's a win! win!

Dan Runte is the greatest monster truck driver in history.

One thing I've noticed about this tour is that they've always got full size cars to crush. Monster Jam kinda quit using them so I figured the scrap yards were starting to run out.

Speculation is that it's due to the low quality of BKT tires, which I tend to agree with. I have watched some video where one of the Grave Digger trucks was going over some crush cars in their small arena shows where they have 2 out on the floor, and the tire goes flat from being punctured by the metal of the car. I have been watching the sport since 1993 and I have NEVER seen a tire go flat because of a crush car. Ever. Sure I haven't seen everything there is of every show that ever happened, but that was a first for me. If I were the tire sponsor and I knew my tire that I was specifically making for the sport was crap, I'd be trying to hide that too.

We have seen multiple tires go flat specifically due to a crush car. While it seems the general consensus is that BKT tires are a bit thin (or a lot thin, depending on who you ask), flat tires due to crush cars are an extremely common occurrence.

With all the changes in Monster Jam this year going from Fox to NBC, Vegas to Orlando, Hot Wheels to Spin Master, & I imagine more to a lesser degree, do you guys see Bigfoot making a return ('97-'98) to the big stage? Not a knock on these shows, they are fantastic as is your coverage. But it would be cool to see the two organizations finally come to some sort of agreement, especially now that Runte has returned. Can you imagine him showing up & taking out all the corporate trucks in racing, how sweet would that be!

Still not likely unfortunately, all trucks running in Monster Jam are required to run the BKT tires and Bigfoot is sponsored by Firestone.

@@austin3171 Oh that's a good point, although it's possible that Bigfoot has a (for lack of a better term) bigger sponsorship, I mean they did run a truck called Firestone Wilderness back in the 90s. I could be wrong though.

These guys actually keep it old school with the crush cars. Monster Jam used to be cool but now they've seem to gotten boring in my opinion
