Tlacolula Market and Hierve el Agua | Oaxaca, Mexico
Wondering what to do in Oaxaca Mexico? This week's video we visit Hierve el Agua in Oaxaca, Mexico. Hierve el Agua means boiling water....but the water isn't actually hot!
And since it's Sunday, we stop by at Tlacolula market, one of the best mercados (markets) in Mexico. While the market is every day, Sunday is when a lot more vendors come down to sell their goods.
Afterwards we head to a textile factory and get to learn the entire traditional process.

Great video Jaclyn & Taku! The Mexican countryside is very beautiful & interesting. Much like the small towns of rural European countries. It’s where to go to see authenticity. The food looked delicious. Thanks for sharing!!!

Great video guys 👍👍
I love your video. thanks you for sharing.
I can tell you why your mom said beware of Mexican pork. I talked with a CenCal hospital surgery nurse and she was scared of all pork which I definitely disagree with. She had worked on several surgeries to remove worms from Mexican nationals who consumed non-commercial pork in Mexico from their brains. Not a nice thought, But I definitely love my US pork on the pink side, I would always avoid pink pork in Mexico. But, would love it any other way!!!
so nice, thanks for sharing, have a good day

Put some honey on your burn. A light covering on it to keep honey getting on clothing etc. Clear up in no time

They have a whole section where you pick your meat and then grill it. Women walk around with grilled onions and tortillas to go with the meat.

Can’t wait to go back!
That salty water would have helped her knee, and all that cactus around can help.simply slice open and rub on ,like aloe vera it all helps.and a shot mezcal!!😅
Cold mustard on a fresh burns works wonders don't smear it jus squirt it on top
You can tell the burn was a sore spot.. literally and figuratively between them 😂🥁
My dear Jocelyn, as your adopted abuela from Michigan who’s also retired nurse, it’s my opinion to get a prescription for Silvadene cream as it’s used in the burn unit to alleviate discomfort but more importantly prevent infection. I’m praying you’ll see my message and strongly consider treatment as I’d hate to see you develop cellulitis due to infection. Praying for the wellbeing for you and Taku. 🙏🙏🙏😇😇😇🥰🥰🥰😢😢😢😢🔥🔥☄️☄️😪😪

Burns should be treated with medical grade honey & wrapped loosely with sterile gauze. Sorry to say that silvadene has been clinically proven to be ineffective on burns and is no longer recommended. Silver is also a strong sensitizer (i.e. causes skin allergies) and can damage your liver and kidneys if it gets into your blood.
Sounds like someone wants a house 🤣
get some Aloe plant and rub on the burnt area This will help heal and will feel much much better .. just break a piece and rub
🌴 ahhh unpurified water🤔 Motazuma’s revenge😂
I want to see the knee please
Eh huh!
I have a friend out there that has business with mezcal. She can take you guys to do your. And also has a coffee shop too

Why is it not a good idea to eat pork in Mexico?

I think it’s fine but I’ve heard it a few times (usually from older folks) that there’s a risk of getting sick. Probably just different times back then and some concern lingers now. 🤷♀️ I’ve never been sick from it.
ewwww he popped your burn blister :O
