I don't know about tae's sexuality & it's rude to assume just anything but he surely has something with junkook.I must say he really love him & very brave to accept it openly despite knowing the potential danger & the possible damage of his career. he is really amazing. I've noticed that a lot of people, instead of making connections between the song lyrics and the video, focus only on the video and forget about the lyrics. Here's how I interpret the song : for me, the song is about how he's tired of pretending to be friends with the person he's dating . That he wants and wishes that their relationship is not a secret anymore: "So wouldn't it make sense if I was yours and you could call me baby. But we say we're just friends...Now, I'm over pretending ... So let’s put the end in friends" I want to point out that the person he's talking about... They had been friends for a long time before they became more than just friends, by the way (this eliminates automatically Jennie 😏). I also think, what he's trying to say and show in his video is that he's not single and he’s not in a relationship with a girl (it was a dream, not the reality and that’s why he dies in both scenes ). And since he can't really wake up next to a man…because it's one thing for him to show gay couples, but to suggest that he's gay himself would be too scandalous, and BH definitely wouldn't let him do it anyway. That's why he had to wake up next to himself. But at the end of the day, we all know who that "friend" is 😏. Which explains his cheeky smile at the end. 🤭 Taekook forever and ever ! 💜💚

I'd also add that it's time for people whose culture and/or religion makes them intolerant of these things to either stop being their fans or start being more accepting of people who have different beliefs and lifestyles. This Idol persona the K-pop industry sells is just an image. The Idols are real adults who will live as they please, and these fans need to stop trying to push their beliefs and values onto them (and the rest of us).

Thanks as always for the good analysis and for pointing out the differences, @TK-KV Daddy. What would our Joker friends do if Jimin had a woman as a love interest in an upcoming video? I bet their theories and stories would change to suit their beliefs. I love all the theories about Tae's video, but I hope everyone doesn't stress themselves out by overthinking everything or trying to relate them to real life. I'm much more interested in what TK shows us outside of work! My theory is that IF Tae is trying to convey something to us about his real-life situation, it's that he's tired of hiding his real relationship and wants them to be open as a couple and not just seen as friends. AND/OR, his real relationship is currently "just" a friendship because they are separated due to military service. We want them to spend time together during their breaks, especially the upcoming vacation days post-100-day service, but I'm not sure it's that simple. I think that the military monitors the activities of its enlisted people when they're off the base, especially high-profile people like the BTS members. If that's true, then I don't think they would risk the chance of being seen together. Even if it just looks like two group members/friends hanging out. I hope I'm wrong and they can spend time together without issues. 😉 For their safety and careers, I think TK tried to distance themselves from being considered a couple from each other after the buzz they received from the Dream Premiere, ahead of enlistment and their solo debuts. Remember how JK did a VLive after the premiere? I think he did that to gauge fan reaction to him and Tae attending together and to try and show everyone he went home alone. While we did see them out together during the hiatus, and they've said/done things to hint they're a couple, I think they successfully created plausible deniability with the dating rumors, female romantic interests in their videos, their comments, and not serving/training at the same base. There seems to have been a big effort made to portray them as heterosexual men who are just bros. We didn't see this with any of the other members. Please continue supporting our faves by streaming, buying, and spreading their artistry! This is how you truly show your support for them!

Esa salida juntos frente a todas las camaras con todo lo que demostraron a travez de su vestuario, sus expresiones no verbales, significó algo muy grande, Y pudo haber sido un intento de verificar las reacciones del publico, y probablemente no fueron las mejores. Siempre acompaño sus movimientos, para toda accion siempre hay una reacción, y cuando se trata del Taekook, siempre hay una reacción de Bighit, y normalmente para menguar el impacto, lanzan contenidos jikook, ya sea fotos filtradas antiguas, o incluso Jk hablando de Jimin. Interaccion que se dio unicamente por vlibe, o contenidos oficilaes. Nada que pruebe una interaccion solos de ambos en forma privada. Y respondiendo a la pregunta de los jikook, Por que crear una relacion gay para tapar otra relación gay? Les respondo: Por que lo que toda industria de entretenimiento crea son ships, y es aceptado mundialmente. Ahora, si se trata de una relación gay real, ya es otro tema, cualquier empresa intentara evitar evidenciar cualquier relación real que pudiera mantener entre los miembros, mientras ellos representen a Bts. I certainly agree with your comment. I always believe that sadly the only way Taekook will be free is killing Taekook. Just think for a moment, Tae and Jimin or Wooga or Tae’s friend from high school go everywhere together, hug each other, stay in the same bed and everyone is fine because “they’re just friends” so it’s justified and accepted and doesn’t bring any suspicion around them probably having a “gay relationship”. I believe with all of these Tae is trying to normalize his interactions with Jk and in this way they’ll be able of traveling together and hanging out together without the danger of being criticized or associated to a gay couple. Being 100% rational Taekook ( if real) won’t say anything for years. Jk is very ambitious and Tae too. Both want to get the maximum they can from their careers and sadly in this world you can’t get that if you’re openly gay ( much more in SK) so the biggest freedom they can aspire is going out and traveling together without the need of hiding from anyone because they’re “just friends” so it’s fine and the fandom will be ok with it. As you I was very interested in Jk’s live after the premiere. He was obviously checking the fandom’s reactions and probing he’s back to his place but what stood out for me was the emotional he was at that live. He even said that he had too many emotions and couldn’t go to bed ( and why?) Taekook is an interesting case. The most popular ship in BTS that Hybe doesn’t use for anything, not a collab between them, the “brotherhood narrative” constantly pushed by Bighit and his editors. Every interaction Taekook have is covered ( if you remember Taennie in Paris happened a week after the premiere) the way Jk is very aware of his surroundings or whatever he says when it comes to Tae I mean, Jk is free of interacting with Jimin and Tae with Wooga but when comes to them you can feel the tension between them, the members, the staff and everything around turns awkward. Even Taekook’s lives have been strange ( both of them) They look very scared at times of how they should interact and why is it that? Jikook is as famous ship as Taekook and Jk interacts without any issues with Jimin and Tae does the same with all Wooga and even with Jin ( that’s his other important ship) so what’s the issue with Tk’s interactions? People say “they’re not close”, well, if that’s the case why Jk goes on trips with Tae, to concerts and premieres with Wooga squad? I mean, shouldn’t you avoid going out with people you don’t like? For doing fan service is enough matching profile pictures ( if not ask to Taennie shippers 🤣) so them hanging out doesn’t obey either to fan service In conclusion, they get very well but have tense moments while interacting with each other but even if that’s the case go out together but even if that’s the case Jk is careful of what he says about Tae. It doesn’t make any sense 😂😂 So, my hypothesis would be a similar to yours, their intention is “let’s make the world to believe we’re friends and possibly straight” and we’ll have freedom to go together everywhere as the “friends we are” because they know there will be years until they’re able to be open about any probable relationship they have 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️ Remember Tae said he’ll release his song about “going out in the night and hanging with his partner” in 10y so he knows whatever relationship he has he can’t expose it now I think the song represents as you said the impotence of not saying he’s with that person but also remember this song is from 2y ago and Tae said he loved it since he heard it so I don’t think it represents his current circumstances but probably he felt reflected in the lyrics because at some point he was also in that position. Cosa que es diametralmente opuesta al ship jikook. Que todo el contenido jikook que tenemos casi sin pudor es contenido oficial, pero nada en sus momentos privados. Cualquier prueba que puedan tener jikook, siempre tiene una factor comun, bighit. O incluso en la actualidad, soldados anonimos hablando de ambos. Creo que el ship Jikook, despues del 2025 llegara a su fin, como lo conocemos. En los ultimos proyectos ya casi no existia voluntad de parte de ninguno a continuar "actuando" como ship. Hubo cierto tedio. Principalmente del lado de Jk. Con respceto a la teoria que dices, sobre normalizar la interaccion taekook como simples amigos, creando contenidos hererosexuales, justamente el taekook, no lo habia pensado, y la verdad tiene mucha logica. Cualquier declaración de una relación real, afectara negativamente en el ascenso de su carrera, es una teoria que intenta eliminar el ship como lo conocemos, y opta por la naturalidad de cualquier relación. Poder crear canciones juntos, viajar, cualquier proyecto juntos. Es muy razonable.

I agree with your points. I tried to fit the puzzle pieces together to form the conclusion that TK are being shown as straight men to protect their careers and relationship because that makes the most sense to me. I do recognize that the same puzzle pieces can form different conclusions, but I will stick with what I believe I've consistently seen from TK over the years. I hope they'll feel comfortable and safe enough to share their love and true selves with the world one day. I agree it will be years after they've established their solo careers and reached goals that would be difficult or impossible to achieve otherwise. I have heard that Korean friend groups, including friends and partners, don't mix unless the relationships are strong. That shows me that TK is stable and close enough (whatever you want to classify them as) for Tae to introduce JK to Wooga and hang out together. I know today's controversy is the video showing JK arriving separately to his listening party and K-army/event staff confirming that Tae arrived with Wooga. At Hobi's listening party, Tae arrived with Hyunsik. It's not a big deal for me, but I saw a few insecure posts and, of course, the usual haters saying the usual things. I'm curious to know your thoughts on this. Speaking of "going out in the night and hanging with his partner," what are your thoughts on why we have rarely heard any of the members being recognized in public, with all the obsessed fans they have? @@ocean-mist well about the logic behind Tae arriving separately I have one. I think ( and this’s not related to TK but probably a practical issue) that Taekook are lately sharing company cars. This situation is for me related to their places being close. As you have probably seen Jimin and Nam are also sharing cars because they are neighbors and Tae and Jk are doing the same. I think even if BTS are the most important group in Hybe, Hybe also has many idols right now and of course they don’t use a car per idol so BTS many times travel together. If I want to be a clown I can also add that being in the solo era gave them more freedom for hanging out with whoever they wanted and Taekook have hang out together the most so it has certain logic that both of them share a car. Now, golden was Jk’s party and his moment so I think Tae probably didn’t consider fair arriving with Jk in the same car. They probably knew there’d be media outside the place so Tae in the car with Jk would probably focus the attention of the media in Taekook instead of Jk and his debut as a soloist so I think Tae probably considered it wasn’t a moment for Taekook but for Jk and going out alone of his car in a place where there would be media was better for Jk. In conclusion, Taekook would probably steal the lightening of Jk and his solo album and Tae didn’t want it. I think Tae could have used another company car but if Wooga were going there too he probably didn’t consider it necessary. Add to it that if, let’s suppose Taekook are together, Tae’d feel freer to express any emotions or proudness or whatever related to Jk’s album in front of his own friends instead of feeling restricted in a company car and he probably didn’t use a company car because he was leaving with Jk afterwards 😜. The fact that Jk invited Wooga was for me huge and shows their good and close relationship because Wooga aren’t singers so they were only invited as friends. She also said that’s actually pretty common creating dating scandals ( i.e Tae and Jennie) for deviating the attention of more important issues or even for promoting the idols because companies know dating scandals would make their artists trending and it was a good way of promoting their projects 🤦‍♀️. She also add that sometimes yellow press like Dispatch hints on certain situations for “remembering the companies” they have information on certain topic that can reveal at any time just for forcing the companies to keep agreements or money coming to Dispatch accounts 🤦‍♀️. The kpop business is extremely dirty and most of the big companies’ decisions are linked to profits ( nothing that we didn’t know but we should remember Jikookers that Bighit would never allow a gay couple to go together to the MS, an environment they can’t control and where things can be leaked by any of the soldiers there in social media so neither Bighit would risk loosing BTS with a gay scandal in the military nor BTS would be so naive to “trust in Jikook’s well behavior” when any scandal can compromise all BTS’ future and not only Jikook’s so the MS together is the biggest proof that Jikook are nothing more than friends and it’s elementary logic) In conclusion, the truth is hard to know and it’s only Taekook the one that can tell us about it. Sadly we’ll have gray hair ( at least me 😂) before that happens because as Ricky Martin did ( and he was a western singer) Taekook if gay, will wait until reaching all the professional goals they have and again, they’ve many I only hope that until then they’re happy and as free as possible for enjoying time together and not having the need to hide from anyone. El fandom está tan tóxico y no dejan de pelear sobre todo con lo que están comentando el ship taennies sobre la foto de perfil que acaba de cambiar Tae porque es muy parecida a la de miss J pero es que no estan pensando con lógica sobre que Tae no tiene porque revisar que foto tiene ella en su IG para poner una igual. Y sobre todo cuando necesita el apoyo de los fans en general para la cancion friends, creen que haria algo así ( en caso que fuera real que estuvieran juntos) cuando sabe que eso le afectaría y recibiría mas.odio por eso. Tp aku yakin dia pasti sangat menikmati peran barunya itu, secara dia mmg hobi masak. Satu info lagi: kabarnya tim dapur/ koki di militer tinggal di barak terpisah dari para serdadu lain, krn jadwal mereka beda, harus bangun lebih pagi. Nah, nggak terbukti kan kalau Jimin & Jungkook berduaan terus di barak 😄
