TK
The frontman vocalist and guitarist for Ling tosite sigure, and an artist that expresses each and every one of his musical inspirations by taking charge of composition, lyric writing, and sound engineering.
His solo project “TK from Ling tosite sigure” features a wide range of musical styles including compositions with violin and piano, to solo acoustic expressions.
The 2014 single “unravel” topped the charts as the opening theme for the anime “Tokyo Ghoul”. The song has over 100 million plays on Spotify and continues to be 2020’s 2nd most popular Japanese track overseas.
For the Japanese release of “Spiderman : Into the Spiderverse” TK’s music was featured as the main theme, proving that his musical prowess is met with high international acclaim.
Domestically, TK provides musical compositions for many top-tier performers such as the massively popular idol group SMAP, as well as for Aimer and Yuko Ando.

@Aorci he actually sounds better live, I feel that his voice goes through lot of modulation during the production. In love performance his voice is more raw and filled with emotions

It's mostly fine live, TK usually is closer to the album recordings than 345. But then there's Tsuru no Shikaeshi. That one sounded really bad in this recording, he went into a shrill voice break multiple times at the ends of lines. Other songs were mostly fine, I wonder if he does it on purpose and thinks it sounds good, because it doesn't. The studio live vocal performance of that song was much better. Though album was still considerably better than both.

Okay, I hadn't listened to In fiction from yesworld tour until now, and he can't sing it live either, just like Tsuru no Shikaeshi. He should really consider singing those two different live, because that is kinda fremdschämen and painful to listen. But most of other songs TK performs very well live, including all the older Shigure ones; Extreaming was freaking perfect. With all the extra live arrangements, I'd say it's likely better than the original album recording of #4 and the other few songs from other albums as well.

@@LVArturs Tsuru no Shikaeshi is very difficult to sing live. I guess he certainly knows that but still decides to sing. Maybe because it's the most popular new song in the album and he doesn't want to disappoint us.
unravel really still gives me chills everytime I hear it and whatever version it is
