TJ Exclusives CERAPAD KIN V2 | The mel0n Review

Ойындар

Hey everyone, welcome back to another episode of The mel0n Review! Today we're doing a bit of an update video. About a year or so I reviewed the TJ Exclusives CERAPAD KIN V1, now I really liked that pad but I made the mistake of getting one that was a little too small. But TJ Exclusives was kind enough to send over another CERPAD KIN for me to review so thank you very much to them! Now aside from the sizing on my newer CERAPAD KIN there have been some other changes to the KIN that make it even better than the V1 I previously covered! I hope you all enjoy the video and I'll catch you all in the next episode of The mel0n Review! Peace ✌

You nailed the speed description. Most people say its slow and super controlled compared to Skypad/Superglide and leave it there....But as you did it should be compared to a cloth pad so people understand the context. Its not really "slow" it's pretty balanced feeling and versatile for multiple game types

Nice review, I like my Cerapad kin quiet a lot my personal gripe is my arm will stick to it after sometime. I really hope the proceed to innovate and decrease the skin stick and it won't leave my desk.

Strange so many people agree 💯👍 with the sticking when they specifically market it as reducing sticking. 🤔

@@8020Alive Really comes down to skin type, how sticky your sweat is and then humidity of your household. My location is 60% humidity most of the time and I just have sticky sweat which makes it very difficult to combat against.

Sounds like a banger pad. I love the speed glass offers but absolutely despise the stickiness and necessity to wear a sleeve, also the dust issue but the Kin seems to solve at least one of the major issues so that is a win. I took out my Skypad few days ago for a spin, my arm instantly glued to it and i just couldn't bother, threw it away to collect dust once more. Another W is the lower price, im pretty sure in the past the 500x400 costed more than 115$, still quite steep but easier to swallow than before.

Honestly it's worth every penny, TJX is a dope company and they stand behind their products so it's an investment you can trust 100%. Also is helps that their pad is absolutely insane haha.

Does the Cerapad Kin V2 also have a break in period like how the V1 had or is that a fixed issue with the V2?

  • @mel0nFPS

Hey! There will be a break-in period for the skates on your mouse since they have to "adapt" to the surface. If you've previously used a hard-pad with the mouse it'll be a short work-in period. If you're coming from a fabric pad it'll be a little longer. The length of the work-in period will vary from the physical size of the skates, material type/hardness and previous wear. On my YanZI dots I had on my Groove the work-in period was around 2-4 hours on fresh skates. Hope that helps!

How many mice did you test on it and did you do some tracking tests or experience issues? There are some reports of faulty tracking on the Kin. This is currently holding me back from ordering one. A German KZreadr even had a green version not working with numerous mice.

Hey! I tested my VANCER Groove and Thrash, DAV3, OP1 8K, Keychron M2, X2V2, X2H, OGM Cloud and Haste 2 on the KIN and I didn't have any issues (all of which were using 3395 or 3950 sensors). Mrs mel0n used to use a Xlite V1 which is using a 3370 with the OG KIN I have and she never reported any issues either. But across the board I've never had any sensor issues or tracking problems on either of my KINs on any of the mice I've used. Do you happen to know what mouse the other KZreadr was using? Maybe they're using an older sensor that's not compatible with the surfacing?

Ah I understand. If you do I think you’d find they share some of the same characteristics. Even though it’s classified as a speed pad. Would be sweet to have the melon in depth review like the kin haha
